Worse with Prestige Card

Is anyone hitting worse with the prestige version of a card? I'm struggling big time with prestige Posey. He has had some bad luck and small sample, but still
Original Posey - 379 AB, .309 avg, 15 HR, 55 RBI
Prestige Posey - 21 AB, .143 avg, 0 HR, 0 RBI -
You need more at bats. Same here though. I’ve done worse with prestige Belli in 20 at bats so not enough time to prove anything

I had that issue going from Gold Jeff McNeil to Diamond McNeil. I know it's not Prestige, but i was scratching my head at why. He's fine now. I guess it takes more AB's like @olivegarden2 said.

I may be one of the few that never uses Posey at all; i'll use Bart before Posey.

I have an attitude problem with slow catchers, lol! Rather use one with a little speed. I may change my mind when I grab Super Posey, but he's the last one i'll take for sure.

All catchers in this game are slow. Only fast one is Biggio

Varsho and my of course my CAP; Anything except seeing a ZERO round the base paths. Slow catchers are the reason I created a CAP. There might be a couple others, I'll check later when I start gaming!

Yeah, but Posey is a wall behind the plate! He also has a good swing. My CAP behind the plate can get up to 60 speed.

Maybe pitchers are getting better so your playing against better guys?

I start slow with new cards all the time. I think I get excited and my swing discipline gets even worse than usual. Then it gets in my head and I start pressing.

I’m hitting worse with every prestige player so far including Mantle.

I bat twice as good with silver mondesi than i do with the diamond. Like. Silver .400/hr every 9 at bats over 200 at bats but the the diamond .243/hr every 39 at bats over anoit 100 and something. I dont get it. Lol but silver mondesi is my early ranked season monster.

Not exactly the same thing, but I absolutely raked with the 86 Prospect Madrigal whereas I merely gather a few dead leaves and assorted bits of loose foliage with the 95 FS Madrigal.

People pitch red diamonds differently regardless of their stats. They see a red diamond and pitch much more cautiously and give you far less pitches to square up. Combine this with you getting a new card and being overeager to produce with it is a bad combo. Try an ultra conservative approach with them and you will see a ton of walks.

Prestige Posey - 21 AB, .143 avg, 0 HR, 0 RBIFor me it's been chipper. I went from .550 to .330
