I love that even people who defended the future stars are starting to get sick of them.
In my opinion, the content this year has been a D because of these stupid ratings and because minor league players are getting duplicate diamonds. If it wasn’t for these FS, the content would be near perfect.

These types are cards are as a result of 18 and 19 people calling for line up diversity
In 18 it was asking more end game cards beyond the immortals
In 19 it was asking for more diversity in the card types so not everything was Sig series
In the pre release stream they said their goal was line up diversity with different cards and looks so with this card they are trying to achieve that goal but people have to realize that you have to make some concession to achieve that goal including creating "fantasy cards"

So getting a diamond prospect and future stars card for the same player is more diverse to you?

So getting a diamond prospect and future stars card for the same player is more diverse to you?
I mean there will be a number of players who get multiple diamonds, the legends packs alone will have 7 who do including 2 players that all ready do.
Having 2 diamonds of the same player is a lose argument and doesn't hold alot of weights.
It's a card and better this card is end in where it does in a pack opposed to a really desired player like Girffey or David Ortiz good card and has a price tag most will not be able to buy with out spending real money so have to look at cause and affect here as well

They've had the same impact in Major League Baseball.
It's like giving a 99 card to a collegiate basketball player. They havent played in the league.

That’s the flat out lamest argument I’ve ever heard. No [censored] it’s all fake, but at least it’s based on real life happening, not going all 2K/EA releasing multiple diamonds for players who don’t deserve it. You do you boo boo, I’m sure your caps name is Big daddy dlck too

Fake fake cards though are retarded.
Future Star cards and Prospects should release AT THE END OF THE GAME CYCLE, and not early to mid season. With every one of these FS cards being higher rated than any LS player or even their flashback cards, I find it insulting.
I disagree a bit with your timing. Under normal circumstances with actual ball being played, spring training would be a great time for prospect or FS cards. If I were in charge, which I’m obviously not, I’d push release back to about the start of spring training and have a prospect/FS program through opening day.

It’s because MLB players and legends in this game have cards that are based off of a season, years, or careers. I could live with the low diamonds that released at the beginning if I had to settle. But when you have future star cards better than the best players in our game today and legends from the past?.. I think that’s dumb because it takes away what they’ve accomplished in the MLB. Yeah this is a video game and fantasy but it’s still based off of a career.

The main problem for me is that Adell has 2 fake cards 90 and 99 while accomplished MVP's in there prime don't have a single card as high as his two, such as Yelich, Betts, Bryant, Harper, etc.
