Analog isn't much better this year, so don't feel bad.

Does anyone actually look at the player attributes before they make a decision to use them. If you have a low bb/9 attribute then your not going to be able to locate very well regardless of pitching interface. So don’t expect to be able locate well with Brusdar Graterol who has an bb/9 of 29.

Honestly that doesn’t matter in this game, when it comes to meter at least. I’ve had pitches with perfect input leak and end up towards the middle.

Close my eyes and hit X. It's an event. It's only for prestige stats for players anyways.

Time spent here for packs is a waste.

Funny, I use good control pitchers and don’t have any issues locating when I have good input.

Eh not really, I’ve made about 200k in rewards from this event alone. Sure no player rewards is not the greatest but there’s so much stubs to be had in this event especially if you’re working towards collections

Hogwash. Yes it is. I started meter and switched the analog the difference is night and day not even comparable.

Meter is unusable... So much more control with analog. No question.

You obviously can't compare to previous versions, so don't. Compared to what it was in 17, this may as well be classic pitching. All modes have been dumbed down with an increase in rng.

I'm not comparing previous versions. I've always been meter. I switched in late-March/early-April to analog, and have seen tested meter after some patches.

Meter is unusable this year and completely inferior to analog.

It always has been. Ask those who have used analog for longer and they will tell you that this is the worst its ever been.

I've asked this elsewhere but what's the learning curve to switch? -- I agree meter is worse than ever this year and after making WS the last couple of years it seems impossible (or at least a lot harder) with meter in 2020.

But after using meter for years it's intimidating to switch since I get bored out of my mind playing against the AI.

I switched this year when it became clear that my pitches were not going anywhere near where I wanted them.

This still happens but less often.

I would say the key to transitioning to analog pitching is to just commit to it and don’t look back. Of course there will be times you fall behind 3-0 and are tempted to go back to what is familiar. Don’t.

Eventually it will get more comfortable and being able to dot the corners now and then will make it worth while.

Pulse is the same, but I am awful at analog, so I stick with it.

When you've used meter as long as I have you notice the tendencies of pitches. I haven't used anything else.

I don’t get all the hate on the meter yeah like 3 or 4 pitches a game get hung but what do you expect to make a perfect pitch every time? That’s just not realistic. I have about a 2.90 era in 1400 innings or so with it and have no issues. Hitting on the other hand wish I could hit .250 to save my life
