Why cheat the game ?
-
Don't understand the fun in buying a game and cheating to get all the stats . Trying to friendly quit because you can't hit a pitcher. Asking to let guys get hits to prestige them . And finding ways to boost xp with out just playing the game the regular way. Never made sense to me . Best part of the game is playing someone and having a competitive game . Being on the edge of your seat in the 9th trying to pull out the win .

I couldn't agree more. I'm totally with you on this. All those things defeat the purpose of playing and can't possibly be enjoyable at all. I'll also add bunting with every batter no matter their speed or if the shift is on to the list. How can pressing triangle 50 times a game be any fun?

The people that have the instant gratitude approach to games are generally 30 or under, and never had to actually work for things in video games. They've always had this micro transaction culture where you could spend extra to get it now, and they do.

I would never do it myself but if someone asks for help with helping prestige Bellinger I have no problem with it, it's not like there's a huge reward for winning this time anyway. Don't take that the wrong way though, I love a great close game and will try to win I just don't see the harm in helping someone for this event.

I’ve had plenty of guys during the event if away only play their half of the first inning. After hitting through and launching a homer or two they quit. It’s annoying cause I need the same Hitting stats they need. Also before anyone says you got an easy win that’s Bull. These wins in event don’t mean anything. The rewards are junk unless you are willing to win 100 games. I don’t play that much. Might get two or three event games played on a good noght

Honest Question...Do you send them a message before the game starts saying you would like to work on prestige stats? Because if you do I think you’ll find alot more willing participants than you might think.

I just had someone walk Didi and Bellinger first inning on purpose. I don’t even ask for stats!! Lol. Some people are just funny.

Intentional walked them twice. So I hit a HR with Reggie. Thanks for the free runs.

Not really sure how it’s “cheating the game” when the person gets the loss if you are looking for more competitive games maybe play more ranked

I do not send messages before games. I’m here to play the game. I’d like to just match up and play the whole game. It’s only 3 innings

If you want more competitiveness go to ranked. That simple 750 games and up are usually a healthy amount of competition.

Well maybe give it a shot. You might find people to be receptive if you ask nicely.
