For instance, if my CAP for speed is 65 and my attributes are maxed at 65 but I have +15 in equipment, am I still a 65 or an 80?

That's what I thought. Would be nice to get more clarification because I would've developed my guy differently loading up on CAP before upgrading attributes and relying on equipment.

Yeah I've seen my speed at 124 with a 99 cap. So it has to be 80.

It is not 80, what you get with equipment is like what you get on increases in a game. When you look at your attributes you will see that you need a number of points to increase to the next level of one. So lets just say you need to get 55 points to go from a 60 to a 61 in contact and you have equipment that gives you 10. then you have 10 points toward the the 61. I hope this is clear because it can be confusing. So when you get to 99 plus 10 for equipment you don't have 109 you have 99 plus 10 toward 100

I don't think this is correct. You can only level your player to a certain point (99), so if what you suggest is true once you get a specific attribute to 99 then the equipment bonus becomes useless because no combination of equipment would give you enough points to surpass 100. I believe the equipment increases your overall so that if your speed is 99 and you have cleats that give +8 speed, then your speed becomes 107 (99+8). Perhaps SDS could clarify.

You misunderstood what i said. let me clarify, the points you get from equipment is not a level increase like when you get to 99. It is equal to what you get in a game to get to a level. Think of it as each level has a percentage gained in each game. This is why you see the bar at the end that shows the increase. when you have equipment it gives you the same thing even beyond 99. So if you have an attribute that is at 99 and you have equipment that gives you a +10 then you have 99 plus a percentage of what would be the next level even though there is not a next level so you would have for instance 99.22 or 99.35. Is that a bit cleare? That is why when you look at your attributes and your OVR it shows the increase of the equipment in brackets.

It doesnt make sense that equipment would only give you fraction of an attribute point. This would make equipment pointless and SDS would lose out on a ton of revenue from selling stubs.

One of my RTTS guys has 91 speed (not including equipment) but the cap is 95 . I have a created player in a franchise with 99. There is a noticeable difference between the two.

That said I think equipment only helps bring you to the cap.

I understand what you are saying here, but I still disagree. It seems to me that if what you say is accurate then the equipment bonus is completely useless. The difference between 99 and 99.35 seems like it would be completely negligible in terms of any boost to the attribute.

if it actually increases as you say then why is the boost is parentheses out side of your attribute and your ovr? It should if what you say is true show your OVR 112 or whatever not 99 (13)

If you pause in game and bring up your player card you'll see your stats are boosted by equipment. So if your speed without equipment is 50 and equipment gives you +15 to speed, you'll have 65 speed, not 50.15.

What if your CAP is 60? Does does equipment go beyond the cap?

To my knowledge it will go beyond the cap. You'll have to get in game and verify this.

In 19, RTTS is there a way to get speed cap increases besides equipments? I have a 3B, Rock Steady character in his 2nd year and he hasn't received any speed cap increases. I already had him maxed out in his first year.

I'm pretty certain you can only increase CAP by training and some challenges.

@TacoLabelle See, he's been capped at 50 and no option so far has come up to help raise the cap level. I'll keep playing more to see what happens but it's just odd I've received options of raisin caps on his other skills except for speed.
