    RE: How do CAPs/Equipment work?

In 19, RTTS is there a way to get speed cap increases besides equipments? I have a 3B, Rock Steady character in his 2nd year and he hasn't received any speed cap increases. I already had him maxed out in his first year.

I'm pretty certain you can only increase CAP by training and some challenges.

If you pause in game and bring up your player card you'll see your stats are boosted by equipment. So if your speed without equipment is 50 and equipment gives you +15 to speed, you'll have 65 speed, not 50.15.

What if your CAP is 60? Does does equipment go beyond the cap?

    RE: How do CAPs/Equipment work?

It doesnt make sense that equipment would only give you fraction of an attribute point. This would make equipment pointless and SDS would lose out on a ton of revenue from selling stubs.

One of my RTTS guys has 91 speed (not including equipment) but the cap is 95 . I have a created player in a franchise with 99. There is a noticeable difference between the two.

That said I think equipment only helps bring you to the cap.

    I'm pretty sure it's 80...

That's what I thought. Would be nice to get more clarification because I would've developed my guy differently loading up on CAP before upgrading attributes and relying on equipment.

    How do CAPs/Equipment work?

For instance, if my CAP for speed is 65 and my attributes are maxed at 65 but I have +15 in equipment, am I still a 65 or an 80?

    GM trading

Playing 19. So I'm on the Blue Jays, I finally get called up after the Allstar game (first season) and Rising Superstars Bichette and Vladdy G have been traded in the division to The Rays and the Red Sox. Kimbrel is my closer ... what the heck kinda BS is this?

    RE: Pic off

Every now and then the game goes into show time and my guy never gets back in time (19). I must be doing something wrong.

How does importing from 19-20 affect facial Scans?

So I ended up upgrading to PS4 Pro after all and MLB 20 is on sale.

I'm currently using a roster in 19 from the vault with all the minor league players.

How will this affect players that have gotten facial scans/upgrades? Will only official Sony roster players get the upgrade if they even existed? Ie if they did some work on Harper in 20, will the save file of Harper in 19 look like the Harper in 20.

    Hopefully this makes sense.
