To bad he's an a-hole as a human and does nothing for his community or local little league - even when asked.
Didn't you remind him that he's bound by law to support the causes you deem most important?

Is he though? When I searched up his name it shows he's getting the Thurman Munson reward and the article says " His work with the community and his love for the city shined during that tumultuous time."
It doesn't mean he a good person because he won that award, but I can't find any information that states otherwise.

He doesn't owe his community or the little league anything. Got anything more than that.

That wasn't his community he did in part for his wife's community - he does nothing locally for the leagues or his HS Lafayette , I know I coached with his brother Jim.

Not a cause per se' - I do what I can for all little league - baseball keeps kids of the streets - and all pro's should pay it forward.

OK. But which is worse -- someone not supporting little league baseball, or some guy named "Capt_awesome34" slandering an ex-ball player on a baseball forum because of some weird personal grudge?
Maybe Franco donates his time and money to other ventures. And, even if he doesn't .... who cares? My little league didn't have any ex-MLB players supporting us. We did fine.

Ok? Does he have to? Does it matter "which" community? It seems like your saying if he doesn't do that one thing, it doesn't matter any of the other good he does.

The entitlement of "he doesn't support my community and my little league, he's a terrible person"
He could've retired to live in a villa in Italy, never to be heard from again. He doesn't owe me anything, doesn't owe you anything, doesn't owe your little league anything. Maybe one of the dumbest posts I've seen on these boards and that's saying something.

I guess this nonsense is to be expected in January, but I was legit pumped for the Franco teaser in the trailer, and he has a dominant change up from the left side, he should be really fun to use and we could always use more lefties in the pen for the show.
