The most important thing to take away from the video is AI ignores physics and ratings when it's setting up advantage for the opponent. Or,for whatever reason, the AI just steps in and takes over and animates the glorious impossible moment.
Henderson is a 99 runner that is trying to sprint back to 3rd. The catcher is a 40 runner that is a couple strides behind until Ricky slides. Sliding is faster than running through a base by 1/7 of a second (look it up). Anyway, if you watch the video you see the catcher pass one of the fastest players in the history of baseball as he's sliding.
Also, the main point when I recorded the replay was to show an out that wasn't an out. There was no tag, but the inning ended on this "out".
Just shows when the AI decides to spin the game it ain't very good at it. This obvious stuff is why either the programmers or QA just aren't spending enough time refining their product. And also why, maybe speaking just for myself but, likely everyone that's thrown a fit because the AI plays the game..not us. We get played by the AI, and it plays the game as well.

Lol no one will read that novel after watching that horrible video. At least hit the touch pad so we don't have to stare at the replay controls. Makes proving your point that much harder when you cant notice such a glaring annoyance.

You're lucky you got a video. Just trying to bring attention to the fact this game has it's share of problems. Really wanting to shine the light on the fact ratings and physics mean nothing. My theme has been....you aren't playing a game, you're watching a game.
So, Darth, why don't you do something useful and edit my video for me. I don't mind.

Its amazing how you online casuals cherry pick one thing that prolly wasn't programed properly and prolly you see once in 100 hours but fail to mention the million other good things about the Show's animations on other plays.

I'm lucky I got a video? Geez thanks pal. I feel so lucky that I wasted that minute of my life. Why would i edit your garbage video? If you want to enlighten people by use of video, at least it should be on point. Dont throw a garbage product out and expect others to clean it up for you.

It's a beautiful game. The animation is splendid. My point isn't about the beauty of the animation, it's the corrupt and deceitful game-play underlying the animation.
I doubt if there is one person that plays this game so it can watch computer code generate awesome animation that doesn't match the expected results coming out of their controllers.
But, these type totally outlandish events are pervasive. I could pull one out of every game. For sure, every couple games. I'll start saving and posting them all if you want. Then it wouldn't be cherry picking?
