Started off seeing mixed reviews, but as of late seeing mostly negative. How has he done for you guys?

He's not great... But he isn't bad. I think i'm 4-3 with him so far with a 3.86 and 28K's in 30 Innings. Gonna ride him out until he is prestiged and see if there is any difference. But honestly I see him being like Prestige Oswalt. I was pretty underwhelmed with that card.

I like him, even when he gives up 9 hits ( only 1 good good) in 3 innings. Check out this boxcore from an all star game that should had about 10-15 fewer runs scored :

His pitches just dont work as good as they are rated! I personally only used him 1 game. 6 innings played again as a good hitter! And I just found my opponent saw his pitches well. I mixed in everything! I didnt realize that his best pitch is his change up! Problem is change ups, curves and cutters are the 3 easiest pitches to hang even with good input! So his card just doesnt play that well in 20 with broken pitching and his sinker didnt seem that great!!

He sucks, I'm going to sell him once the 5th Inning bosses are announced, hopefully his price goes up. Should've sold when I got him.

Is Greinke a noticeable upgrade? I just bought Felix back. I flipped him for 90k not long after the program launched. Just played a game with him where he allowed 3 ER.
-
Heβs been decent for me. Iβm still stuck in all-star so itβs hard to tell. Some people will hit any pitch they see on all-star regardless of location.
I think heβs pretty good though from my experience. But there isnβt such thing as a shutdown pitcher in this game, especially on all-star.

I just prestiged Felix this morning. Haven't used that one yet, but I like his regular card. Good pitch mix, good movement, good control. I guess if I had to pick his worst trait, it would be a lack of an overpowering fastball, but even that is decent.
-
I have had success with him on HOF. I have also faced him and lit him up. Iβm not sure, perhaps Iβve just been lucky, but my thinking is that people are hesitant to throw the curve in the zone and high sliders. I wouldnβt pitch with him like Kluber. The sinker is great, but must be mixed with change and curve. When I teed off on him, it was vs people who just spammed sinkers in the zone as if he was Kluber or Oswalt.

I ended up selling him for 54k stubs. The reviews I have seen all over are very similar
-
He's my favorite player so I am gonna be biased and try to make it work, but he's pretty decent. The one concern is he's hard to control. so right away do whatever you gotta do to pound strikes and boost that confidence. Once that's good then you can roll through people no prob

I can't wait to prestige him, he's gonna be my first. Those boosts should help, gives his sinker 99s and bumps the four seam up to 97, changeup differential goes from 10 to 12 and his slider extra gnarly to work off the FB.

I like his card.

I'm wondering this as well. Thinking of selling and buying Grienke....

I've seen people say they do better with Greinke, but I've had the opposite experience. I find Greinke very easy to pick up and if you are playing an opponent that can recognize his curve and neutralize it, you are out of luck. His sinker does not have near as much break as Felix's.

I think we are at a stage where pitching is a coin flip, especially if you are playing on All-Star. Thanks for saving me 10k stubs lol. Felix has played solid for me as long as the analog input doesnβt go haywire and lay a meatball down the middle

I have never locked in card to prestige ? are the stats tough to accumulate ?

After reading this I am glad I sold him for 92.5k

I ended up selling Felix and buying Grienke. I find Grienke easier to control, his pitches move more, and just overall had better success with him. So far so good....
