There is literally no possible way they can code the event to those restrictions
I mean, they've done it before...

Right, but the only two prestige-able players that don’t fit that criteria are Roberts and Victorino. They aren’t going to define the event rules to where you can use any players over a certain power threshold except for Mantle, Sheffield, Biggio, Didi, Correa, Hanley, Joe Carter, Chipper, Torre, or Elsbury. Thats just ridiculous. Obviously the pitchers aren’t going to be able to be used, but that is expected
They'll CAP the Player OVR.
They absolutely will not. This is the 4th year they have done this event and the only restrictions they have had are power thresholds, handedness of the common pitchers and batters( so Mantle and chipper probably won't be able to be used), and minimum player overall to avoid Fierabend and Wright. I will gladly admit I am wrong when the restrictions are put out if that is the case, but I doubt they change from the formula of the most universally well liked event

I think last year it was 80 power. Hopefully they do it again. I just want to prestige Biggio.

article from the past:
MLB The Show’s All-Star summer events continue on with “Moonshot.” “Moonshot” is an event tailored to power hitters. In this event you choose any hitters with at least a 70 power rating from either side of the plate. They can be any tier. You also have to choose pitchers but they must be commons. You then play head to head three inning games and try to rack up the wins for rewards
-
Isn’t the whole game a moon shot event already? Lol I swear all I ever score from and get scored against is from HR’s
-
70 power would be so nice. Only need 6 more runs to prestige Helton.

Biggio meets that criteria. I’m happy.

I just got off the phone with Steven Wright... He's ready to go!

How is this event going to be different than any other event or RS so far? Lol

It will be fun because you don’t have to face Kluber. Most people don’t care if it is homerun or nothing. Common pitchers = less BS

That’s been the best part about most events. I’ve played more event games this year than all of last year for 3 reasons:
- Prestige stats
- Not seeing Kluber/Newhouser
- TA/player program missions and stats
