3 Games, 1 Assist For Omar

Thought the mission for Omar Vizquel to get three assists from his shortstop spot would be an easy 10 points, but forgot this game doesn't always play like real baseball. Still working on it after just one assist in three RS games.

Just keep throwing sinkers to RH hitters and wait for the ground balls.

I got all 3 of mine on DPs in the first 3 innings of the first RS game I played. Instantly subbed him out

Yeah, you have to adjust your approach. I usually pitch to make guys miss, usually strike outs or fly balls, or just weak contact pop ups. For this I threw a lot of low pitches to the LF side of the plate, I got 4 assists for him in the game.

Yeah that makes sense. I think he's fielded about six pop-ups in those three games and I also had a lot of strikeouts on defense.

I really didn’t mind playing him. Had him hitting 8th for me and had a couple of hits, including an RBI single. Great defense. He’s a decent card. It’s not like having to play Veteran Jackie in your lineup.

Put in a sinker ball pitcher and throw low pitches. I got this one done in two innings. But score 10 runs with Honus is way worse

well ya but that strategy still takes you at least ten games to finish it. The moments were super quick but they are making this drag out on purpose
Not to mention the amount of times that I leave a runner hanging on third base
