MOON SHOT EVENT

Basically a good way to pad stats for your hitters
-
Time to prestige my hitters...

Derek Detrich is smiling
-
Watch it be any player above 80 power except prestige players.

There is literally no possible way they can code the event to those restrictions

Let me give you a few examples of what’s possible:
- Except the prestiege players by name (ID tag)
Except the players who are inning rewards, POTM rewards, and collection rewards.
Except any player who has a higher rated version of that player in the game (if OVR is less than OVR if same name)
- Except the prestiege players by name (ID tag)
-
Can I use guys like Didi, Correa, and Trout when they have 90+ power on one side?

Right, but the only two prestige-able players that don’t fit that criteria are Roberts and Victorino. They aren’t going to define the event rules to where you can use any players over a certain power threshold except for Mantle, Sheffield, Biggio, Didi, Correa, Hanley, Joe Carter, Chipper, Torre, or Elsbury. Thats just ridiculous. Obviously the pitchers aren’t going to be able to be used, but that is expected

They'll split it into two events RvL & LvR.

Events used to be brutal. 20 wins over a weekend! I've complained how many wins are required this year after last year's more casual approach but this really puts it in perspective!

Event rewards used to go for a lot more then too. I remember in 17 BO CarGo was an event reward and stayed around 80k all year. Only the very good players or players who have a ton of time on their hands could get enough wins.

The Moonshot Event last year was only hitters with 90+ power vs both right and left I’m pretty sure

How can we check who we have in inventory?
-
May give it a go if I like the reward. Would be nice to work on Prestige.

That was what I was thinking and I am hopeful that happens

My Giancarlo Stanton hit his 505' dong during this event back in 17.

They absolutely will not. This is the 4th year they have done this event and the only restrictions they have had are power thresholds, handedness of the common pitchers and batters( so Mantle and chipper probably won't be able to be used), and minimum player overall to avoid Fierabend and Wright. I will gladly admit I am wrong when the restrictions are put out if that is the case, but I doubt they change from the formula of the most universally well liked event
-
I think last year it was 80 power. Hopefully they do it again. I just want to prestige Biggio.
