Kyle Seager Affinity Mission

Has it drove anyone insane? Having to get 3 XBH in 4 ABs against a shift? Tried switching to pure analog hitting to go the other way. Nothing works. Or it works twice and then they walk me. Constantly. This has to be the worst mission in the history of the franchise so far.

I personally hated the Mancini missions because you needed to hit 2 doubles and I kept hitting tanks.

Well I beat it. Then played one of the shittiest games I’ve ever seen in ranked seasons. Love it when they bunt and your 1B picks it up and just freezes like a dummy and turns to stone. And when infield pop flies freeze your infielders and the just kinda side step to the ball and miss it completely. This game needs work. Just extra infuriating when the guy you’re playing is a high sinker cheeseball and that [censored] happens.

I was utterly shocked when I finished this mission like my third attempt.
Seager has legit power so I sat on pitches up in the zone and used power swings.The nightmare was the Vlad Jr 2 HRs in 1 game mission.
I can cruse through all of these missions, but I cannot beat the 2nd inning showdown.

I know this is really late, but I'm catching up on my "Affinity" series. This was insanely hard. I left Seager for last. I struggled for almost an hour, searched for a thread like this, read the comments, used all power swings, and then completed it. Thank you!

Really an odd mission when you compare to some of the others. I think Carlos Santana's mission was to get on base once.
