I swear you deny that request and boom they score 3 runs lol

I denied someone's request in an event game. He scored 4 in the first inning... I scored 11 in the 4th, before he quit.

Or sometimes somthing comes up and you have to leave. What’s the big deal. Accept the friendly quit and you’ll be in another game in 45 seconds. Would you want someone to accept for you if the game hasent started?

Yeah but it’s 80% of the time in ranked seasons. This community is slow but I’m sure more than 20% of us know where we’re suppose to be at any given moment.

If this was the actual issue, SDS could just gift 1 or 2 friendly quits per year to everyone for that extremely rare time something happens. Your opponent would get the win and you get a wash, will see how often people actually had something come up or how often they thought the game might not be a blow out for them.

If something comes up in any game I'm playing, I stop playing and handle my business.

If you have that much going on, turn off your PS4.

Lol. You think you have it all figured out. For example. Sometimes I get into a game and my dog come gets me to let him out. Being where I live I have to take him out for a few minutes and stay till he is done. . Wouldn’t it be mean if I made him wait 40 mins? Things happen bro. That is exactly why there is a friendly quit in the game.

Nobody gets asked 80% of games for a friendly quit. All I play is RS and that’s not true.

My dog going out is more important than the friendly quit. I quit. Why ask for the friendly when they can count it down.

Point is, if something comes up, wear the loss and leave.

Oh I do every time. I couldn’t care less about my record. But friendly quit is there. The least you can do is try. A lot of Lvl headed ppl usually take it if there wasent a pitch thrown

See, that's the issue. Before a pitch is thrown, we're seeing over 50% FQ, even in the 600's. There aren't that many dogs that need to go out.

Yeah well I mean I don’t ask if I’m afraid of the team. I used that example to shine light on an organic situation that may happen like that. And btw. My dog drinks so much water you don’t understand. He makes me take him out twice a night. He’s a biological machine.

And beside what does it matter what rank your at? It doesn’t knock you down. The worst that happen is you “waste” 30 seconds of your life getting into that game.

Because there's obviously something you see from my team that you are afraid of. I get easily 50% FQ. I don't get it.

I live in the greater NYC area. Sure there are tons of other people to play. Because of the rampant amount of FQ I get, I deny them all now. Years past, not as much. It wasn't as frequent.

I live here also. And yeah I’m sure some people quit over strength of team. Sure that’s not cool I agree. However I’m defending the friendly quit for time when ppl need it. I personally don’t care what your team looks like because i really suck and would probably lose anyway. Plus. Idc about my record.

I always send a friendly quit request if I see that my opponent has a gap in a losing record that isn't close to .500 and has absolutely nothing to do with who the starting pitcher is.

Chances are their rating is going to be substantially lower than yours, possibly even by a whole division. So I send a request, because if they get a fluke win, you lose a ridiculous amount of points, but if they lose, you hardly get any points which just doesn't put much value on playing the game out. Usually they accept, but the ones that deny and think they have a chance usually end up quitting anyhow or dashboarding.

For this reason, I always prefer playing someone who has a winning record and is hopefully rated higher than me.

I only ever ask for these if it’s in an MLB park or the first pitch feels laggy. Or 2 same starters.

As far as being asked, I always let them run their timer. I get about 1-2 free wins a week. It feels horrible, but I’m sure these idiots won’t be asking for FQs in their next game. I don’t bunt dance or R2, but I fully expect an onslaught of that after denying a FQ, which feels like 80% of the time now.

I will only offer a friendly if you’re playing a rainy game in Houston. Seems oddly specific, but this happens wayyyy too much and it’s always people looking to bunt and spam high sinkers.

If you’re playing at an MLB Park with some kind of shadow or in the rain I am offering a friendly 100% of the time. My internet can’t handle it

This has absolutely nothing to do with your internet. None of that information generates network traffic.
