I just started playing RS more frequently and whatnot, currently on AS but hoping to end up a tier or two above it. Is Ohtani still good enough to throw 4-6 innings at those levels? He's been my permanent #5 because bat and he does mow down CPU hitters. I gave up a big donger with him today on what should have been a low splitter and it has me reconsidering, especially now that there are more than 2 viable starters on the market.

I'm not but I faced him the other day after a while of not seeing him, and I have to admit that it took me a few innings to get it going against him. Biggest issue remains his control, I just sat back and worked counts until he either walked me or had to challenge me and that's when I started hitting him pretty hard.

I use him on AS difficulty. He's the only guy besides Kluber I don't get rocked with.

I still use him, I don't play enough to have other pitchers better than him. However I am 800+ in RS with just 1 day played his season and will not hesitate to start him. His control has never been an issue for me, not even against friends in Legend.

I use his FotF card as much ss possible. But I am a fringe DS player. Most of the guys in the mid levels cant deal with his pitch speed differential. He can be tough for some to control, but I can control him better than several others

I make WS every season, and for some reason I still struggle to hit Ohtani even on AS. His fastball just goes right by me.
