it's borderline impossible to strike anyone out in this event. They literally foul tip every ball whether it's super early or super late balls over their head or balls in the dirt. This garbage game forces you to throw balls down the middle and if you don't well heck they do it for you.

Name of the game on all-star. Just keep fouling pitches off over and over til the game makes your opponent hang one with good input.

All the fancy cards and stub sales cannot save the actual gameplay. This is an absolute mess.

I love it when they get a lunge animation on a ball that literally would've been a wild pitch and they still get the foul tip. Perfectly realistic and accurate gameplay. lol

I know exactly what you're talking about. When it leaves the pitcher's hand I'm worried about a wild pitch but somehow the batter gets a piece of it even though it's in the dirt 4 feet outside the batter's box

I suspect they did this because balls put in play are more fun than strikeouts. Strikeouts make the player 😩 but tape measure home runs after fouling ten pitches off in the dirt are 😀
