In recent years, I didn't have these problems, I've compiled a list hopefully someone at SDS would be able to stop by and provide some insight. If not on all of these questions, at least on one or two?

    1. When I have good timing and move my stick all the way to the right, why does my pitch end up center/center?

    2. When I have good timing and move my stick all the way to the left, why does my pitch end up center/center?

    3. When I have early timing and move my stick all the way to the right, why does my pitch end up center/center?

    4. When I have late timing and move my stick all the way to the left, why does my pitch end up center/center?

    5. When I have early timing and move my stick all the way to the right, why does my pitch end up center/center?

    6. When I have early timing and move my stick all the way to the left, why does my pitch end up center/center?

    7. When I have very early timing and move my stick all the way to the right, why does my pitch end up center/center?

    8. When I have very early timing and move my stick all the way to the left, why does my pitch end up center/center?

I've played this game since David Ortiz graced the cover. Hoping that can earn me at least one tiny response from someone affiliated with the game.

Because you are using Al Leiter, Nolan Ryan, and Bob Feller?

Your post amuses me. I use analog pitching online as well, and notice the same thing this year. I am glad I am not the only one, because I was starting to feel crazy!

The reason appears to be they are trying to make non perfect perfect pitches more hittable. But meatballs down the middle doesn't quite make sense with analog pitching.

In years past, if you were trying to throw a low away change up, you would rather be a little late and/or a little outside so that if you missed, you were missing away from the heart of the plate. Kinda seemed to make sense...

This year, if you are off, no matter which way, its got a good chance to magically be right down the middle. Forcing the stick input to show straight up, or if not a fastball , to whichever direction would cause it break right down the middle ( a big indicator that the game is forcing this), makes no sense and leaves you feeling like you have very little affect on the outcome.

Yeah I was frustrated by this as well. I also noticed that it can be hard sometimes to deliberately throw a ball. I'll aim an 0-2 off speed waste pitch into the dirt and somehow it just hangs in the zone, even with good timing. That pisses me off just as much as center center

In the last couple of days, it seems like the meatball pitch has been occurring every other pitch. If not, it's just outside the zone.

This one is my favorite especially when you’re playing against someone swinging at everything and you try to throw an 0-2 curveball in the dirt and for some reason it hangs into that bottom center quadrant and gets launched for a home run
