This "no new reward" continued Event stuff is for the birds

I win a 5 pack bundle if I win 20 of these 6 inning event thingys. That's 10 guaranteed Free Agent cards for what we all know is a hassle. It's not happening.
All these fake cards floating around and they can't make some fake ones for these continued events? I'm really fed up with this year. Online is terrible and I don't mess with rigged Moments or Showdowns.
I tried MTO and after 10 hours of gameplay it didn't recognize my PS4 the next time I tried to fire it up. 1st game of WS and I'm told I forfeited my rewards. Whatever.....still waiting on a response. Where you at, Chuck?
No communication whatsoever after they ran stream after stream trying to hook consumers. SDS is not some small indie dev group. This isn't their first rodeo. Covid or not there is no excuse for a game this bad in 2020. Period.

I believe they came out and said to the community as a whole they can’t fix the M2O problem if it already happened, but they were going to fix it.

Communication is great for content via twitter, they’re keeping people engaged even tho they can’t stream due to distancing restrictions. I’d say I’ve been having a lot of fun trying to guess the cards

Showdowns aren’t hard at all lol I still don’t understand that complaint.

I 100% agree with you on this event. Last one was my favorite in the last 3 years. This is awful.

I guess they can't stream from their homes like everybody else in the world right now. My bad.
Can I hear your expert opinion on why there are no new rewards or why this game plays so bad after like year 15 years of development?

Showdowns are a mind f@ck. It's not about hard or easy. It's a button pushing game with noises and lights....I'm talking about Showdown where up is down and down is up. How did he make that catch? How did that ball I just smoked only go to shallow CF? That type of stuff. It gets old real quick.

Can I hear your expert opinion on why there are no new rewards or why this game plays so bad after like year 15 years of development?
My guess is they tracked the number of people that participated in the event and their progress and determined that not that many people completed the event or got the player reward (makes sense since this I believe was the second event after Affinity stage 2 dropped) so they decided adding new rewards wasn’t worth it for most of the community.
Game play is easy to figure out why there are issues. They added and adjusted a lot of things to the actual gameplay (More than they have done in years I believe) like perfect/perfect, defensive difficulty, button accuracy speed, the dive red circle, and pitch speeds that all affect gameplay. With the pandemic I’m sure they haven’t been able to dive deep into the coding and make adjustments when issues have arrived.

So wait; after they said that one of the recent patches was going to fix the Auth Error from MTI; it's still happening and there is no fix for it?
