Deleting a comment or post

It bothers me that I’m not allowed to delete my own post or comment. It says I do not have enough authority to do that action. But like what do you mean? It’s my comment. It’s my post. I should control what happens to it

Not saying I agree or disagree, but what I do like about this is that it's less appealing to post impulsive threads or comments with content you might later regret posting. It's also a nice way to trace trolls.

I agree. I have thought something, posted it, and then realized that I was wrong. I go to delete it, but NO! I can't! So I just have to put under it, or edit it and say "I was wrong, never mind." No one wants to go into a post and see that. I think we should be able to delete our posts.
