TA innings

I don’t know what the answer to this is, necessarily. But I find that the stages maxing in team affinities leads me to not using some of the good cards I unlock as not to waste affinity innings/points. I am maxed out on 4 teams (Rockies, Twins, Padres and Rangers) and I’m only one point away from maxing Yankees. But I feel it’s a waste to use those guys, clip off more innings and waste the points I get.
Instead, I use other, lesser guys to build up innings for other teams. Like I said, I don’t know what the answer is, but I feel I’m disincentivized to use the fun cards I’ve unlocked.

Maybe just more things to earn after you unlock the card? Maybe have the cards show up earlier in the Affinity path?

I agree. I have only complete the Pirates so far because once I did I realized at the time it might be a couple of months before I wanted to use the card again. I have been getting the other teams close. I wish that there was at least some reward five point further than the card so we could use the new card to get it. You know like they did in stage one.

Stage 3 will be coming shortly then you can use the cards you unlocked. When I go for wins I use my best cards when I’m just playing or grinding I work towards ta innings.

summer officially begins in 22 days.
My opinion- we don't see stage 3 until mid/late july

Seems likely that Stage 3 was PRESUMABLY supposed to be All-Star related with Stage 4 connected to Finest.
We shall see whether those plans remain intact given the real world's intrusion.

Totally agree. Unlocked Trammel and Nolan Jones first, and love these cards but feel like I’m wasting inning opportunity by using them.

I noticed this right away, and have not unlocked any FS cards yet, but getting to around 40/50 for a lot of teams. RS is garbage right now, so dint really need them yet!

Yeah, I deliberately have not gone after any FS cards for this reason. I mean with stage 2 at least there was still 20 points to max after FotF cards.

This is a good idea. They could treat them like affinity vouchers. You log another 250 innings with the rockies, you get a 2pt affinity voucher that you can exchange at a later date potentially (It would have to be less than it is worth right now so that you somewhat start on even footing when TA3 comes out)
Then, you can trade in Affinity vouchers for a gold pack like you can with showdown.

This is a good idea. They could treat them like affinity vouchers. I usually stop using team players I grinding with after I hit spot I want. I have to say it causes me to use other teams I shaky wouldn’t so it’s fun. Right now working with Braves and Tigers grinding.
