What is my best way to go about creating a party or community for DD players to chat while playing. I’m new to online just got PS plus yesterday. I joined a “party” or two through an MLB 20 “community” but I was like 15 years older than the other players. The one kid invited me to a game which was cool and I made him quit after a couple homers lol

Obviously they were just kids but what is the best way to start one of these, a bit more mature without all the wiener and [censored] jokes, keep it about The Show?

Any advice or Anybody interested holler

I can't wrap my head around what you are trying to do. Are you talking about conversing with your opponent or conversing with other people on The forum while you play other people? I don't ever do those party chats. Can you create a chat with anyone but play different games? For example, can I start a chat with one of my kids and they play fortnite while I play the show? That would be pretty cool

Yes you can create a party chat on ps4 and chat with friends who are playing different games or the same game, but i don't really understand OP's post if he wants to have conversation with his opponent? Seems kind of weird tbh.

Maybe I didn’t ask it right but yea I want to sign in the play the game and have other players of the game can join and chat. You don’t have to all be playing the same game which is cool. But with the party you can play against each other once you are friends. I’m trying to figure out how to have more friends so I can chat once in a while while I play. And if I’m gonna chat with people I’d prefer it be people like me who are playing DD all the time. I have no friends! Sounds so sad like that though lol

Also I want to do shareplay whatever that is and the other thing where you can play or watch each other play.

I realize I’m a dope but I’m brand new to PS plus and I have no idea how to use the online features I’m paying for yet

Shareplay is only good for offline games. It would be brutal for online play as it would create serious lag.

Might work. Might be some input lag though. Yes both need ps plus. And switching off control in this game would not work at all.
You'd be late on every pitch

Ah ok gotcha thanks. I think what I should do is try to create a community, invite DD players, and then when I play I’ll extend invite to a party if any other people looking for interaction want to join then all skill levels would be welcome

Also why wouldn’t you want the option to talk to your opponent during a ranked season game? I had some key advice for the player that could have really helped lol
