I don't like shifts

Is there any way to permanently turn off the shift, ever march to october run I go on the CPU more often then not beats the shift. I hate the shift I want it off

If you are on defense yes, it is in the settings

Right I know you can do that there, but can you turn it off completely so that you never need to worry about it every at bat

Go into settings in the main DD menu. Not in game.

Go to settings in the main menu, then in to gameplay settings, then go to fielding, and turn defensive shift to manual. I have always taken the shift off. I do not like it either.

I've just started pitching to the shift, even in online play. I know that isn't helpful to you, but it's something to consider.
