I’ve been kind of miserly with my stubs this year, so I avoid Showdown and Battle Royal because I don’t want to spend the stubs. I wouldn’t expect to complete the Showdown or get 12 wins on Battle Royal, but how well do you have to perform in each to break even stub wise?

Stage 1 can be pretty hard, but stage 2 showdowns are easy to make your stubs back and more. Especially if you play through all the moments and mini bosses. Between the stub reward and the silver pack + the standard pack, it's a great way to make stubs.

BR is harder to make your stubs back, you got to be really good and lucky to consistently make stubs there,

Just do it, don’t be scared.

Idk the numbers but spend the 1K to do the math and have some fun while you’re at it.

BR you better be decent to make the stubs back, but you still get a pack anyways...

Showdown is super easy to get 1000 back. Like almost automatic as long as you're conscious

I was scared of showdowns for the first two months based on what was said here. But, once I finally started them, I have actually really enjoyed them. I am not a great online player, but I have completed multiple MTOs on hall of fame. So, that might give you some perspective. I was able to do the al east at about a 70 percent success rate, and have not failed an al central one yet in 3 or 4 tries. Hope this helps.

Don't be a vagimon! (Sorry had to make the pun). Should have no problem with stage 2 showdowns!

Wait you have to pay stubs to play showdown??? So all those showdown I started and quit immediately we’re all paid for? Wtf. Why do you have to pay Stubs to play a game mode in which you paid real money for? Wait what?? My world has just been turned upside down.

Are you being sarcastic? I can't tell.

If not, there is a very good reason it costs stubs, because it makes you a ton of stubs, I don't even really work the market that much anymore because showdown is so lucrative. If there wasn't a stub fee, they would quite obviously nerf the rewards hard, and I don't want that.

Besides, why aren't you campaigning against BR then? It's been a "paid mode" for years now.

So I just beat the Stage 2 Showdown for the American League. If you beat the first mini boss, you’ve essentially made your money back. I ended up making about 2,400 stubs altogether, which is pretty cool.

Nice. They can be addicting when you start to get a hang for them.
