Are they worth it? Been strictly a ranked seasons player and conquest offline for program stars and dailies etc. looking for ways to add more stubs and I def think you can get that quicker and higher quantities in events than RS. Just wanted to hear some thoughts

If you can’t make World Series, events is a great way to make stubs. If you can make WS, events are probably an easy way to make stubs. You also get to use cards you’d never use in ranked.

I personally love the events and really don’t like RS right now. Games go quicker, a lot less stress since losses don’t really matter, easier to obtain rewards (and may be better than WS rewards in some cases).

That’s a great point yeah I keep peeking at 780-800 in RS so maybe it’s time to switch it up. Thanks for the input

Depends on the event. I've really enjoyed the current one and doing fairly well...get about 5-7 wins per entry it seems.
I've actually enjoyed the quick counts (although that lingering HR banner is brutal since it covers the actual count if you dont wait long enough). Occasionally quick counts feel lopsided but general seem to be even for both teams.

I have always preferred events but this year is far and away better. You are reward in some way for every 5 wins or 10 wins in some cases. I think in total the switch up event had 27 free packs may have been more plus XP, Stubs and Players. Overall you can unlock 2 90+ players which is something you can not do in RS. Yes RS will have greater overall pay out but only of you make WS in events get X wins and you get stuff.

About the HR banner, I'm sure you already figured it out, but if you press pause and then unpause it goes away. It's annoying for sure though.

In general I enjoy events because of the quick game format. As a parent I don’t always have time for 9 innings but sometimes I can get multiple event wins because if you have a good first inning the opponent will often quit.
On the flip side there are some wacky events like the current quick counts or the guess pitch event last year that are less fun. Some of the early FOTF and Future Star requirements this year really thinned the player base and stiffened up the competition. This has come back into a good balance though and I’m looking forward to events the rest of the year.

My only gripe on this past event was no rewards after 60 wins which felt a little low especially between quick counts and then part 1 being 3 inning games. I do like seeing the variety of events though and its nice being able to play games online that have nothing at stake
