Does the steal glitch still work in Showdown?

Thought I remembered seeing people here say they patched it, is that true? Specifically the one where you hold R2 after they set, and setup a steal while forcing the pitcher to go to the plate.

Anything that helps player fun gets patched, everything that hurts the players fun never gets fixed because its on purpose.
