How is that a problem? Do you know how baseball works?

You can do everything right and still get nowhere meanwhile your opponent who swings at everything is getting rewarded time and time again. What decides this? I’m genuinely curious. If my opponent can get hits on worse swings than me, why aren’t mine rewarded? Can you answer that please SDS?
Game controls your pitch location, forces errors, hitting system is programmed to be biased.
Can you please just make a freakin game where the simulation doesn’t have such an influence on outcomes for the sole purpose of player retention. Players shouldn’t have to play against your bs you’ve implemented and the opponent.
I thought PvP was literally that, apparently not in this game due to the simulation and RNG. Tone it down for the sake of competitiveness.
Interesting...so everytime you lose it is because the computer rewarded the other player?

Dumb argument, try again

Where did I say “every time I lose”? Please show me.
I referring to why this game makes it harder to beat an opponent who you clearly outplayed.
Few examples:
Your hits are better but your opponent is having more success with weaker hits. Why?
The game forces errors so your opponent can score a run or two or reach base safely. An error in which you did nothing wrong. Why?
Pitching, why does this game put your pitches down the middle when that wasn’t your intention?

Let’s see ... I’ve got “rewarded,” terrible opponent always wins, broken pitching, biased programming, and RNG ... BINGO!!!!
Where did I say “terrible opponent always wins”?
Some of y’all need to read more carefully or pick a better way to defend this game instead of making stuff up that wasn’t said.

Played baseball my entire childhood life. Sorry but when I squared a ball up I was more likely to get a hit then with okay timing and contact. I’m not some kid who doesn’t understand [censored] -

What? I asked him a question, why do you feel the need to get involved? Staying waiting for his response.

Gots to keep little Billy happy and give him just enough wins to keep him around and buying packs.

It's all based around DDA. Just Google the words, "churn rate and player retention".
User input is as meaningless as ever.

The comments about player retention on here are incessant, and yet SDS seems to have no problem whatsoever retaining the people who are making these comments in addition to the people who need retaining that they claim the game supposedly caters to in these posts. The depth of knowledge and experience the folks have who are making these comments indicate that they keep coming back themselves regardless of their dissatisfaction. Quite interesting. When I'm that fed up with something, I move along; curious as to why others don't.

Good point although retention in the OP is more a suggestion about how the game keeps players coming back for more through manipulative means, rather than the risk of not retaining valuable customers.

Classic apologist. "Don't play it." "Go play another game"
I would if there was any competition. You typed a lot of words for no reason.

I’m fed up with this game but I voice my reasons why so hopefully someday they’ll make changes.

Same old same old. Lol. Wah wah wahh. Same type to cry about that but gets gunned down 3 times on Sb attempts.. Tries to go 1st to 3rd on a hard hit single, pitches the same way all 9 innings against experienced players.. Then deny it so much they start believing them lies..
Anywayyyyy every thing good Schnz? -

Actually didn't defend anything as an apologist would. Mind you, I have no idea what is going on under the hood, so it would be hard to accuse or defend something other than anecdotally and based upon handpicked situations.
I merely pointed out that they are able to retain folks regardless of the stated unhappiness with suspected game mechanics. If those folks don't move along, and will come back next year anyway; SDS is simply better suited focusing on borderline folks since it's evidently inherently good enough for the dedicated folks to return.
MLB is doing the same thing by focusing on making games shorter - the diehards and traditionalists may not like it, but they aren't going anywhere, so maybe good to focus on the folks not buying/returning consistently? MLB would listen if it affected the product enough to reduce the gate, but the bottom line is those diehards still love the game enough to return despite their complaints, and likely have metrics to back the reasoning.
If you don't like the apparent game mechanics yet keep buying and playing, you send a message that it's good enough for you. Walking away would be what indicates that their choices were poor.

It's easy to blame the opponent or other factors, but most of the people who complain here don't seem to want to just concentrate on improving their own skills. The game is what it is, some are great at it and you don't see them complaining in the forums. I consider myself to be a good player (not great) and I do lose, but I never complain about the coding of the game or how my opponent played. If i lose it is because i did something wrong or that i need to improve in certain areas. If people would just cut back on the complaining and genuinely try to get better at the game they will see results.
