The connection issues online need addressed

It's not a secret that this game has terrible online connection issues. Want proof? Back out of a laggy pregame lineup screen to see you now have buddies nameplate and icon. You may even have to hit the back button several times just to get out the connection is so bad. I'm also in the middle of my first freeze off in about a year. Where did this come from?

It definitely affects hitting

It affects all aspects of the game. I listed a lot of them in another speed thread.

Honestly, don't have the info to tell for sure. I can speculate based on the fact I am on wired fiber in the middle of the U.S. and I constantly see connection issues. I haven't had issues with ping and connection in other games but it is possible. You simply can't match good internet with bad or even mediocre internet. The code to try to help this simply doesn't work. Ping based match making would be way less stress on that code and make a smoother experience for everyone. 95 would actually look like 95 almost every game.
I will not say pitching_rebel isn't a great player because he is. However, no way in hell he goes 250-15 with my set up. You have to be a really good player and be very lucky with internet to do this. I could play him 50 times on our current set ups and he would probably mercy rule me 50 times very quickly. I promise if we were playing those same games in the same location (although he would still probably beat me), the games would be drastically different.

Its the SDS problem. My internet works great for eveyrthing

I use a wireless verizon jetpack for six devices at once, including my PS4. I have never had a second of trouble. In NYC, may have something to do with it.

What speeds does it give you? Usually the guy with worse connection dosent notice the lag as much.

Just ran a test on my laptop. DL speed of 20 mbps.

I was having issues with constant server errors and disconnects and thought it was their end but then I bought a mesh kit for out wi-fi to boost it and haven't had a single problem since.

I'm not knocking you but you probably have the lower connection speed in most of your games.

Wouldn't know but I just saw the below on google.
The minimum internet speed for gaming with most modern consoles and PCs range from 3 Mbps (megabits per second) to 6 Mbps. But if you want a more seamless video gaming experience with next to no lag, you'll want to be in the 15–20 Mbps neighborhood.

I'm 300 down/200 up and usually end up with lag.

Yeah. I'm at 100 up and down and feel some. What we see when we hit or pitch is the buffering between players.

Never have any lag... run my laptop, phone, google home, smart tv, PS4 all at the same time. Never an issue. In a basement apartment as well.

Just tested again, DL of 15. Not a problem.

25mbs is considered the lowest to be considered high speed internet.

No need for anything man. Like I said earlier. I'm not knocking you. It is what it is. That's all it is. I was just curious about the speeds you got from the jetpack.
