Is it odd that every buy/sell order is tracked?
Is it odd that every PostGame/XP/Program reward is tracked?
Is it odd that all Conquest Wins and Losses are tracked?
Is it odd that every at bat is tracked?
Is it odd that XP level is tracked?

Packs are different from all game tracking, of course game stats are tracked for the purpose of grinding and leveling up. But what is the purpose of tracking what are supposed to be random pack contents?

To prove that they are indeed random if it came to that, to determine whether the code is working correctly if a change is made, to justify making changes to the odds, and most definitely the reason that somebody else said about people making false claims.

Edit: game stats also tracked for purpose of improving and balancing the game.

Probably so when someone claims "I packed Trout but then I went to my Inventory and he wasn't there so I demand another one.", they can look up the pack logs and deduce that you're full of horse hockey.

True, but does that happen often, and do they even respond? SDS hasn't responded to anything I sent in that I recall

So my question is, if packs are tracked... would the odds comes out to exactly 50-1?

Can we see where packs are tracked?

Yes, go to My Account, then to MLB 20 dashboard, then Inventory, the Open Pack History on the left.

    That would depend on whether

    a) a card or pack content is randomly generated upon purchase (ie create a card using a random number generator). Results would be around but probably not exactly 50:1 (laws of probability). This would be like buying an entry into a ‘spin the wheel’ kind of game to determine your prize.

    or

    b) (and this is purely to explain it and not necessarily the way it is actually done) predetermined cards are added to packs in bulk (eg 1000 packs are created by allocating 20 diamonds, 100 golds etc to random packs) and these packs are then sold with cards already determined to ensure the odds are exactly 50:1 (laws of transparency and avoiding litigation). Kind of like when scratch-its are bought, their prizes are already determined and whichever ticket you bought is not going to magically change its prize if you wait an hour to scratch it.

My guess is b) for legal purposes.

I think it’s much weirder than Ramone asks for tasteful nudes of everyone before each RS game.

..... wait, he does do that for everyone, right?

    Not your best material lol

Is there a quick way to see all diamonds pulled from packs without having to scroll through every pack opened?

Actually for mine he specified they not be tasteful. That’s not weird is it?

Not likely, I never checked so I'm not sure.
