What’s the longest diamond pack drought you’ve had this year?

I tracked all of my standard packs I’ve opened this year. I went on a 260 pack drought and that’s not counting TA, BIAH, Headliners.
I don’t know why you don’t count TA packs in the streak. Sure they are “free” from just playing the game but they have the same posted odds and technically, unless you’re crazy enough to put money on the game then open packs which I know people do but still, all packs are free earned through the game.
I was using a google sheet to track my packs. And I wanted to do standard and team affinity separate to see if I had about the same success with them. But I haven’t got to tracking my TA packs yet but I know it will eventually be included in that streak.

If I knew that I would have to wait 3 weeks, but would pull a Trout, I would be fine with that.

If I knew that I would have to wait 3 weeks, but would pull a Trout, I would be fine with that.
Depends on how many packs that encompassed and how you got them. If you opened a 10 bundle with stubs for 21 days and blanked from diamonds then pulled Trout it would be almost break even.

@Untchable704 I just hit level 1 silver today and I pulled my first diamond (Cody Bellinger) yesterday at level 88 bronze. I havent pulled another one since. Which is crazy b/c I pulled like 5x as many last year. They are being tight as hell with their diamonds they are giving away. Then you watch these youtube videos of all the SDS partners like Fuzzy and Koogs and Twingaming and they ALL pull TROUT EARLY!! Like wtf is that bs... seriously... The packs are rigged as hell.

Meh you are only telling the truth. If they don’t like the truth maybe they should change what the truth is instead of hoping you don’t tell it.

Oh finally got one. After 273 packs got me a nice shiny Jose Ramirez. Almost pays for the 300k+ I lost.
So is this the longest of the year? I understand even using the funny math the guys who defend them does a 550% outlier on odds can’t be a natural common occurrence but I do feel like somebody else could have a longer streak out there.

@Untchable704 My theory I found out the hard way halfway through the year last year is that after many 20 and 50 bundles bought, I actually pulled more diamonds from the free affinity packs and the packs that were given to me throughout the game periodically. Now I hoard my stubs and will not buy any packs, not even the tempting headliners and will just wait until I pull the diamonds through the free packs b/c I feel like either way the game will choose for me when to give me diamonds.

Like a good bad beat poker story everybody loves to share and I am just curious who has had the longest. Let’s go in with the fact we all understand that 1:50 odds does not mean you should come close to pulling a diamond once out of every 50 packs. And that the only way to keep it fair are long droughts to counter the many times you pull multiple diamonds in very few packs.
So currently I am at 186, edit 273 Wondering how high I can run it up. I’m sure I have had longer ones but they just stand out more now when a gold pull still has a high chance to lose stubs, a silver pull is anywhere from a 60% to 80% loss and a bronze only pack is anywhere from an 80% loss to 93% loss. But I don’t want to guess what it was previous so I will say 186 packs and counting.
Anybody got that beat?
Speaking of, check out my last pack opening but i open up alot of packs this year, If i were to check I'd say I've gotten close to 200 without a diamond

Just broke it for a double diamond in a habits card pack....ta ta dum.....freeman and Kershaw. I swear I have the best low diamond luck ever...Bergman twice, Morton twice, marte, Bagwell. Kept Kershaw, sold freeman......so hoping to draw degrom or mad max at some point

178 packs - I bought 3 50 packs no diamonds - I bought a 20 pack and got nothing then I opened up the BIAH packs nothing... I didn’t buy packs for a couple days, and the very first card I pulled was trout, I have packed Trout 6 times this year - Cole 1 Arenado 3 - Verlander 1 - Schezer* 1 Degrom 1
