Easy. Don’t face Trout. You see him, you run for your life.

ironically enough trump isn't the issue for me. Played a guy who beat me last night and I completely shut out trout.

I think taking pitches helps a lot. Track the ball look for pitching patterns. Sometimes I shuffle my lineup

Weird that you post this. Watch collegelefty a good deal and saw yesterday he had a terrible time hitting on his stream and then I hop on and couldn’t score more than 2 runs a game vs cpu while they were blowing the doors off. Maybe that bad juju was in the coding yesterday???

The only thing I have found that truly has given me results is taking a break for a couple days, I've experienced very similar things and usually hang around PR and WC division ranks as well.

I'm in the "take a break for a few days" camp. I went on a massive slump during the last ranked season (lost 10 of 12 after making it up to the 750 range) and I was compounding everything with my growing frustration. After my break I was picking up pitches much better and reacting more easily to fastballs.

One thing I do is turn my pci off. You can then just focus on the pitcher & its mostly muscle memory from there. May not work for everyone but it could help. Good luck buddy

I started playing conquest on HOF and legend difficulty, then went into ranked games with it looking like the pitcher was throwing beach balls at times, made it up to Division Series for the first time which is probably my ceiling with pulse pitching.

Have a secondary game to play. Whenever I lose a game I make myself play COD for at least an hour so I cool off before jumping in another RS game. If you’re mad or depressed you’re not gonna be as patient or as smart. If I get in a 3 game or more slump then I take 2 full days off where I don’t play The Show AT ALL - No moments or anything. Total reset....Then I seem to be back to normal when I resume playing.

So I made it up to Wild Card after finally going on a nice winning streak two nights ago. Just started playing this game for the first time earlier this month and everything just clicked that night. I mercy ruled a world series player and was rocking kids. I get on last night and I was just awful. Completely lost my eye, was slow on everything, and didn't locate pitches well at all. The only difference between the two is that I didn't play moments for an hour or two last night like I did before. Regardless, I slumped back down to all-star and won back up to pennant.

My question to you guys is: How do you get out of a slump? Simply take a break? Jump in custom practice? Do you rotate your lineup for a day if you perform badly with players you're usually great with?

Warm up with a round of "Challenge of the Week".

I find punching my controller works, but its probably not a good a solution, because they cost to much to replace lol.

Try doing some moments or showdown or MTO. that way you can try to hit your way out of a slump while completing useful missions
