Especially with covid-19 happening, there’s more important things going on in the world than complaining about Correa & the Astros. But guys complaining about a Virtual baseball card in a video game(Carlos Correa) POTM version. And complaining about the 2017 Houston Astros. It’s like groundhog’s day whenever Houston is brought up. I guess everyone is perfect and no one is deserving of second chances. It’s so tiring hearing the same thing over and over again. I accepted their apologies, & I think it’s better for everyone if we could just move on. I’m not defending what they did at all. I can agree with everyone on that. But as the old saying goes...”if you have nothing good to say, don’t say anything at all”. And at least my Detroit Tigers lose the right way!

We didn’t even get real apologies from them though.
Basically all of them were non-apologies. “I’m sorry I got caught.” That kind of stuff. They are scum that do not deserve to be celebrated or praised.
The best part about baseball coming back will be seeing astros players get drilled with 100 mph spheres.
Nobody would even be talking about them right now if it weren’t for SDS’s abysmal and immoral decision making.

Honestly I think a lot of the hardcore whiners are in their 30s man. About once a year there is a “what is your age” post and the overwhelming majority of the regular posters are 30-50

I would be curious to see a "have you played high school ball or higher" post for the people who work at SDS. I know a couple of gaming programmers and all they played was rec ball.

I'm not happy with SDS, not one bit. No Braves cards were released today, SAD!! I know some will argue that since Hamels is on the team currently he should count, but he has yet to throw a meaningful pitch in a Braves uniform. If the season starts maybe I will change my mind.
We miss the great Joe Mauer, the lack of new Braves cards has me looking for a new outlet!!

I would be curious to see a "have you played high school ball or higher" post for the people who work at SDS. I know a couple of gaming programmers and all they played was rec ball.
It’s a video game, it’s designed by nerds not athletes. You want the guy that played ball all his life and fell short to come make your baseball game? Or the guy that’s been using computers his entire life. You certainly aren’t going to find a guy that almost made the big leagues but quit to pursue his passion of making video games.

Yes, I highly doubt anyone at SDS played competitive baseball. That's why I wish there was a post about it. But, you'll be surprised how many baseball guys went to a great computer engineering school. Too bad they didn't get a degree in it.

There are things in life that do deserve a second chance. Disrespecting the game of baseball and cheating the world series (and who knows how much of the season or previous seasons) is NOT something that deserves a second chance. You cheat on your wife and get caught, that deserves a second chance.
