Trout

Sitting on a Trout that I pulled a couple weeks back. He is on my team but with talks of a stub sale coming and wanting to finish collections, do I put him on the market and finish a league? If so, which league first?
well, if you sell him, you would need to buy him back again to complete the AL, so that kind of answers your question on its own?
Unless you mean to say you have two Trouts? In that case, I'd go for which ever is going to cost you less...or the cards you want more. There's no right answer here.

Sorry for not clarifying, I only have 1 at the moment. But I would save up enough to make sure I can still purchase him back when the prices drop.

His price has done nothing but go up all year. The first one I sold was around 208K after tax. The last one I sold netted over 300K. If you want him keep him. If you sell him, you will complete NL and at some point, drop $300 on the game to buy him back.

I mean, if he goes above 400K during a stub sale...I'd have a hard time keeping him. But anything below that I'd keep. When you pull your next one you can sell him

I don’t see him dropping at all anymore he’s done nothing but go up every day for weeks

Yeah the only way he is going to drop (which would cause other cards to drop as well) would be to flood the market a bit with touts. If people ahve him they can take their stub orders and use it on other guys
Something like a high diamond pack in the market for 80K would take those prices down pretty quickly.
