I mean... both teams are playing in the same altitude. Just because his hits were homers and yours weren’t, you can’t blame the park.

    Also it’s called mercy rule.

Wow...this guy has not played baseball in real life.

Get the heck out of here with that comment. It's called "run ruled", every real baseball tournament it's called that. It shows you and SDS has no clue of baseball.

He was in the band... right tuba

Again, it’s called mercy rule. There’s literally nothing called “run rule”.

Rarely do you see such prime examples of Dunning-Kruger.

Here's the thing...I call it a slaughter rule. It's called a run rule, a skunk rule, a mercy rule, etc. There are plenty of names for it. That doesn't mean every person everywhere calls it the same thing. Just like I call a drinking fountain a water fountain, while my good friends in Wisconsin refer to it as a bubbler. Different places and different contexts lead to different names. You're not necessarily wrong, but you're not right either.

And don't bring out Dunning-Kruger when you're obviously exhibiting the same characteristics...it's not a great look.

here ya go mr know it all. wipe that egg off.

NOTE: Beginning with the 2018 Little League season, a 15-run rule option was implemented. Following the same intent as the “10-run rule” the language in rule 4.10 (e) now also states that a local league my chose to implement a 15-run rule after three [four innings for Intermediate (50-70) Division/Junior/Senior League]. This rule (Tournament Rule 12) is mandatory during the International Tournament.

Little League® rule 4.10(e), more commonly referred to as the “10-run rule,” was written to establish an accepted way for leagues to end games if the conventional means of recording outs proves to be a challenge. According to Little League’s Official Regulations, Playing Rules and Policies, rule 4.10 (e) states:

If after three (3) innings [Intermediate (50-70) Division/Junior/Senior League: four innings], two and one-half innings [Intermediate (50-70) Division/Junior/Senior League: three and one-half innings] if the home team is ahead, one team has a lead of fifteen (15) runs or more, the manager of the team with the least runs shall concede the victory to the opponent. If after four (4) innings [Intermediate (50/70) Division/Junior/Senior League: five innings], three and one-half innings [Intermediate (50/70) Division/Junior/Senior League: four and one-half innings] if the home team is ahead, one team has a lead of ten (10) runs or more, the manager of the team with the least runs shall concede the victory to the opponent. NOTE: (1) If the visiting team has a lead of fifteen (15) or ten (10) runs or more respectively, the home team must bat in its half of the inning. (2) The local league may adopt the option of not utilizing this rule.

Totally my bad, I didn’t know you guys were playing little league. Probably why you’re complaining about losing so much...

um. of course it applies to non professional ball. did you think it applied to college and MLB????? dont be a fool. the fact is, you said there is no such thing. its ok to be wrong. it won't kill you to admit defeat.

Considering the fact that this a forum for an MLB game... there is still no such thing.

Thanks for the irrelevant lesson and paragraphs that no one probably read though.

geesh. wow. ok so lets recap.

YOU called it a mercery rule and when some called it a run rule you said there is literally nothing named run rule that exists.

then i point out that in tournaments and non professional situations, that's exactly what it is called. a run rule.

then you said "Considering the fact that this a forum for an MLB game... there is still no such thing"

YOU said its called mercy rule. so since we are in an MLB forum, can YOU tell me where in MLB this "mercy rule" is used?

then you said "Considering the fact that this a forum for an MLB game... there is still no such thing"

YOU said its called mercy rule. so since we are in an MLB forum, can YOU tell me where in MLB this "mercy rule" is used?

It’s not, and that’s the point. It’s a general game term here, not a baseball term. It’s specifically called a mercy rule.

    hold up jack.

you said, THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS A RUN RULE. IT LITERALLY DOES NOT EXSIST.

except it does. so once again,

    you've been run ruled.

Rarely do you see such prime examples of Dunning-Kruger.

here ya go mr know it all. wipe that egg off.

Thanks for the irrelevant lesson and paragraphs that no one probably read though.

i didn't post it for anyone but you and you read it. so, it worked huh?

    you just got run ruled.

Nah, I saw the words “minor league” and made a comment about that.

nope. wrong again. you said little league. it specifically mentions little league in it. not minors.

geesh. wow. ok so lets recap.

Here's the thing...I call it a slaughter rule. It's called a run rule, a skunk rule, a mercy rule, etc. There are plenty of names for it. That doesn't mean every person everywhere calls it the same thing. Just like I call a drinking fountain a water fountain, while my good friends in Wisconsin refer to it as a bubbler. Different places and different contexts lead to different names. You're not necessarily wrong, but you're not right either.

And don't bring out Dunning-Kruger when you're obviously exhibiting the same characteristics...it's not a great look.

The game literally says “game called due to mercy rule”.

“Not a great look”? It’s a video game forum... who cares?

Obviously...you do. Because you can't let it go, and you're being a bit of an [censored] about it.
