Yeah there’s no doubt in my mind that this stuff happens all the time. What I don’t get is how good defense was back in 19 and how screwed up it is in 20.
It’s like nothing actually works gameplay wise. Fielding still sucks.
We all know how pitching goes. And hitting is plagued with the good/ok and early/late hits -
No lie. I wish I had the screen shot but last night I hit a grand slam with Hanley on a ball where my PCI was 3 inches away, good okay, opposite field, no doubt animation.
Everything squared was mostly pulled foul, or lined out right at someone. My opponent also had early okay homeruns. During the course of the next innings it evened it self out. But it was just unbelievable.

The serenity video is telling... if it’s possible to illustrate everything wrong with this game in 5 minutes or less then it’s truly perfect.. This game is a joke in its current state and borderline unplayable at time especially on AS. Skill gap continues to vanish with each patch and for someone that tries to play competitively it’s getting more and more difficult to care when you got all the best players bashing this game and for good reason. The worst part is we literally can’t get excited no matter how good the gameplay looks for MLB the Show 2021 because we’ve seen they’ll pull the old bait and switch as soon as little billy starts to get upset.

defense was actually better in the beta than it is now. In fact, the entire game was better in the beta than now. How crazy is that?
