Jackie Moments Stage 3
-
Think i'm not even going to do the Moments there are plenty of pts from just the Stat missions & exchange. Had 2 done & didn't even know
-
I used Directional and X and it worked after a day or so maybe about 3 hours worth of time

The Cardinals one was challenging for sure--6 hits, 2 XBH in two games. Took me an hour or so and numerous attempts. I eventually got to where I would quit if I didn't get 3 hits in the first game. I used power swing in early innings to try and get a quick XBH, but then normal swing later on. Sometimes I did nothing but power swing, but that didn't work out too well.
When I finally accomplished it, I ended up getting lucky and going 6-7 in a high-scoring first game, and then power-swinging in the first AB of the second game for a double to get the mission.
SF wasn't as bad, but it isn't easy either. Cueto's changeup resulted in lots of weak grounders to third.

I did them all using zone hitting and the 6 hits in two games one is the only one that held me up for a bit. I’ve struggled with most hitting missions in Sportman’s park nothing seems to hit the gaps for the xbh’s. Outfielders always run them down. Just came down to getting lucky eventually.

My question is for the voucher exchange. It says it is repeatable and I turned in two of them, but if you say, complete the get on base 10 times, can you just keep resetting and earning the voucher over and over if you want or once you complete it, then you are done.
-
They made it so I have to get doubles or triples or do stats online with his crappy card before I can even try even though I finished the program all the way through after stage 2 so I may never know.
-
It’s no help for the xbhs, but Robinson is a bunt cheese machine...even against the computer.
-
What worked for me was bunting to the second baseman with no one on base. It was a hit every time. Then power swing for the extra base hits to finish it off.

What is everyone using for these? Directional, PCI, power, normal? I find these to be annoyingly difficult. Everything is good/okay.
I find that good/okay is generally a result of timing being off. Try swinging slightly earlier. Perfect/Perfect is actually slightly early timing according to their in game strategy guide.

PCI. Normal. Breezed through every one except the 6 hit/2xbh in two games. That took a little dashboarding. First game I had a double and 2 singles and I am thinking wow easy peasy. Ya right. Haha. Probably took me close to an hour of good/okays and 93 mph perfect/perfect fly outs short of the warning track to finally get it. And when I finally did it was single double HR and done. Haha. Feels like the cpu lets ya sometimes ya know? Thought this third stage gave me less grief than some of the other parts of the program (the doubles and triples especially).
