Drafted #1 overall

Anyone miss trying to be?
-
I do. The whole showcase thing is so pointless. It doesn’t matter how good/bad you do.
-
I have literally done nothing, not swing at a pitch not catch a ball nothing and got drafted in the 16th. It really doesn’t matter. And it seams like the same 2 or 3 teams always draft you no matter what.

Well I asked to go to the Mets and i got dafted in the 16th as well and went to the Mets.
I started another 1 and got drafted to the Rockies, I meant to ask to go to a specific team but skipped past that part by mistake.
But i did opt to go back to "college" for a year. Wonder if that makes a difference.

Sometimes, although I've had one where I was drafted by the same team even after going back to college.

Does going to college do anything other than make your player older?
-
you can get a better potential, but otherwise no. Just makes you a year older. When i redid mine, i went from a B potential to an A, did better in the showcase.

You can get a small boost in contact, power, etc., but it's REALLY small. Plus, you can go through the draft again to have a chance to be drafted by a different team.
