RNG actually stops the ball in mid air and changes its direction (it was spotted up and out of the zone) so that this can be hit out for a HR. This game is pathetic
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cFWzbRYFhxg.

But you're not showing that you aimed high and outside of the zone or showing your pitch feedback. It doesn't matter where you aim your pitch if your have poor pitch timing or analog placement. When playing online, your perception is going to be different than your opponents, this is because of multiple camera angles etc. You notice that when you pitch, it will slow down the motion as compared to playing offline, but when you bat you don't see the slow down of the arm movement. These are all balancing and connection/ping issues that can lead to some odd looking feedback from one players perspective, but are attempts to make online play a possibility.

It slows down. I’ll give you that. but in the video the ball looks like it’s belt high the entire time. Not a good angle to see if you really were going to hit the spot, up out of the zone, as you have said multiple times.

I’m perfectly alright with people criticizing the game, but using replay mode to get your point across about something that was probably a lag issue doesn’t do it for me.

How did lag change the location of my pitch? Have you ever seen a competent MLB pitcher throw a high fastball out of the zone on purpose and it somehow end up middle middle? Even an incompetent pitcher can throw a high fastball and keep it high and out of the zone.

Pitching location is horrendous in this game but thats not what the point of your post is about. It looked like it stopped and warped to down the middle is because of lag and lag alone. I just can’t trust anything shown in replay mode actually happened either. Replay mode hasn’t ever been whats actually seen in an online game. It only works correctly offline

Should a ball warp and change directions? Obviously the answer is no and that isnt humanly possible for a ball to do.

Thats what you aren’t realizing. The ball didn’t ACTUALLY warp and change directions. Lag and replay mode cause it to look like that. On your opponents screen he just saw a regular fastball down the middle

Having corresponded with Kasey at SDS the last couple of days, I can assure you that they take these concerns more seriously than you do. I lost a game after my runner was called out with his foot on the bag and the ball not even close to the fielder's glove. Sent them a screenshot and they're investigating.

I cant help it that their replay system sucks. To clarify the situation, I had him 0-2, theres no shot I would throw Griffey, or anyone other than the pitcher for that matter, a middle milddle 4 seamer on an 0-2 count. The pitch was aimed middle high out of the zone.

Would have easily been solved with a 2nd angle from the pitchers view or catchers view. Fairly certain those are possible. All I was trying to say is if you are going to present an argument leave no doubt.

That still wont show you where I had the ball spotted before throwing the pitch. All you will see in a replay is a fastball going middle middle no matter what angle I use.

You are saying it was going up and out of the zone and “teleported” or whatever phrasing you used to middle middle. If it looks middle middle the entire time. You missed your spot. That is possible.

So you have seen an MLB pitcher throw an eye level fastball and miss his spot so bad that it ends up middle middle? Because I never have and I have been watching baseball since the 90s.

As have I. Even professionals miss spots. I’ve seen them attempt to hit spots, up, down, in and out and miss over the middle. It happens.

Please show me a video where a pitcher, any pitcher, doesn't have to be one with elite control, that intended to throw a high fastball and some how missed so bad that it went middle middle. I am obviously not a professional athlete, but I guarantee that if you put me on a mound and told me to throw 10, 20, 100 fastballs high and out of the zone, every single one of them would be high and out of the zone. Its a particular pitch that guys dont just miss their spot on that badly.

If the email sounds anything like this I wouldn’t get your hopes up:

*Thank you for the email and feedback. We have passed this along to the design team for review and investigation. We appreciate you reaching out with your concerns.

    Thanks!

Not to say they’re not looking into it but it’s a generic response.
