Balls that are hit against the wall ? When my fielder is clearly underneath the baseball? It’s an automatic triple for my opponent.

Because the cpu is stuck between fielding the ball and moving into position to play off the wall.

Devs were reaaaaaaaching trying to make fielding matter in '20 and in the process destroyed the programming for all cards including diamond fielders. That's the short answer at least.

At some point I'm sure a patch will come out to deal with this issue which will allow you to climb up the wall and run a few rows into the stands to rob a homerun. Nothing has ever been a simple fix with this crew, so it is bound to get more broken before it gets better.
