I came across your post while looking through the forums, curious to see if anyone who'd been complaining about the lock-on issue with fielding actually acknowledged that SDS handled the problem very well, and quickly at that. Fielding has been absolutely brilliant since the patch.
Are you still running a lot when you get to the landing marker? You'll drop a lot of potential catches that way, if that's what is happening.

All I can say is that I have no idea what you're talking about, as I've found the improved fielding to be incredibly good, significantly better than I expected, in fact.

Offline is totally fixed, plays like a gem.....online players are being punished and rightly so because they play online :).

Not as much as many others, but yes, I do. It seems fixed there as well, to me.

I think this thread nails it. In its current form, the online game simply isn't fun. From freezing to lagging to cheating, it has become a stressful, miserable experience for most.

BuntsHow about fly balls that hang in the air for 12 seconds like they are on a parachute until the fielder is under them?
This! I had a flare hit today (Matt even said, flare to left) that should have dropped in about 3 seconds in front of the LF hang up there for 5-6 seconds so they could make the out. And now they have bumpedup the fielder run speed slider to try and combat the broken fielding animations. I dont catch balls in the OF on the run anymore, I am able to speed over and camp under them cause they made the OFers faster to give you more time to get the animation to lock in.
