I kinda feel you on this. For anyone that has the Live Series collection done, there aren't a ton of really appealing options on the market.
Personally, I really want this Griffey, the BR Ben Zobrist, that FS Dustin May, and I still need quite a few Live Series cards like Bellinger, deGrom, Acuna, and Yelich but I could see why other players wouldn't be too excited about paying 200K+ for a card like Zobrist and this Griffey.
Beyond Sherzer and Degrom (all I need for LS), there's nothing I want.
I have been done with live series for over a month. The way cards are coming out makes you want to buy packs because you are just staring at your bankroll going up with no desire to buy any cards. It's a big reason I did a lot of those collect missions for the future stars team affinities. I only use a handful of them but I'm setting up for stage 3. Sell your Griffey and get you a degrom then you're closer to mantle.

Hahaha this is you implying I'm good enough to hit World Series. In all honesty I have tons of stubs sitting and waiting in my inventory. Purchased 30 shattered glass bars for 1500-2000, now valued at 3300, currently have 85 Manny Machado for 380, and 30 Jason Kendall that i got for quick sell value. No question i have mantle, it's just a matter of when i want to pull the trigger on these cards.

I’d say go for it haha. If you’re going to hop back in ranked, mantle biggio and Sheffield are game changers. I know there are a lot of options for outfielders, but mantle trout and sheff in the OF and biggio behind the plate is ideal.

The sad thing is 1995 was such a monumental year for Mariners fans. If they do make a better Griffey jr. card, from what point in his career could it possibly be? Cincinnati?
This is the problem with making cards based off of stats on reference sites. The fact of the matter is Junior had a significant injury that year when he made a catch smashing into the CF wall. He came off the DL in time for the stretch run and put the team on his back.
That card is borderline insulting.
It’ll likely be a Sig Series card that will kinda represent his career

Besides his immortal Card, have they ever done Griffey justice? Maybe his Program Card in 17? Griffey had power, Speed, and one of the better (Wont Say Best) defenders in the game. They've never given him all 3 on a card at one time.

Last year, his card was my easily one of my best hitters. And weirdly enough, I never ran into any of his wonky defensive animations.

It's a postseason card, not a made up future stars card. The stats are what they are. He's still got one of the best swings in the game.
It's not the final Griffey card either.

I'm assuming you're talking about that silver card. I forgot about that one. I was thinking about the gold 84 and couldn't imagine how you paid that for him.
