Finally completed every live series collection except the Angels now, just Trout to go.

Before everyone asks the only stubs i bought was 150k at the very start for my Nats which was like 140k total after buying Scherzer i do that every year.

So every other card was obtained through playing the game within 2 months. I think no one gives SDS enough credit for being able to get the best cards on this game without spending real life money, as someone who plays FIFA for 6 months then MLB the show for 6 months its not even close as to which game rewards you more for actually playing!

Yea I hear fifa is terrible. 2K is real bad too. Madden not that bad.

This game definitely best NMS mode. Won’t save them when the chickens come home to roost on unethical packs in sports games but at least they have that going for them.

2k could be a complete money pit. I’m so glad I left it to play the show full time

You shouldn't feel bad for spending money on stubs to buy the player that you want. go ahead and splurge and get your trout so you could use him for this event. His price is only going to go up and he will not be an endgame card so if you are actually going to use this card you might as well get him sooner than later.

Oh nah i was just saying i did spend a little money.
I was really just trying to point out that you can basically complete this game and get any card you want just by playing / grinding the game which i really enjoy.

The game obviously has flaws ingame but as far as the menus, content and being rewarding for playing SDS are miles infront of 2K and EA imo.

Not sure it’s miles ahead of EA and 2K I played last year for first time and my team was loaded based on just their free drops they provide with spins on the wheel.

I just put in a buy order for Cole. After that I only have Verlander and Trout to go! I bought the $70 game and I've only spent $20 on stubs on opening night. This is my first full year playing DD, so I'm hyped to finish collections!
