Fastball speed

this is kinda a complaint thread..but im seeing other ppl hit so its mostly an I suck thread.
I've been playing this game since the 989 sports days. ive been playing online since 2017. 17 18 and 19 i did fine. each year i could score runs, hit have fun etc. i was never WS, but very close.
this year, what's is going on with the pitch speeds in RS? in events i can hit, on conquest mode on HOF difficulty i win 14/15 times. with plenty of PP on any pitch type.
my TV is set to game.
this year in RS, i cannot hit most pitches and if you ever face me, just throw gas anywhere and im late. ive never seen fastball velos like this ever. but my opponents hit them, i see streamers hit them.
does any GOOD player have any insight for those of us that cant even hit fastballs that are teed-up in the middle of the plate?
this is the most frustrated ive ever been with a video game in my life. and ive beaten Ghosts N Goblins on the original NES. im no stranger to perseverance. but this is ridiculous.

This isn't advice, but know that you aren't the only one. I was a WS player last year, but I'm stuck in the mid 700's this year. I can't put together enough wins on HOF to break through.
I faced someone yesterday that couldn't hit either, but he it one more good/okay HR to the opposite field than I did. I'm trying to not get frustrated, but it is very tough.

yeah that seems to be the consensus amongst ppl in the 600-850 range. the good players are fine and the bad players are crushed.
i have no idea why they did this. all its done is drive ppl away. why does a video game need to be so hard?

Yep I made WS last year 3 times before I stopped playing and was 810 this weekend and tried for a WS push and lost 4 in a row

I feel you. Made my push today and faced both Pearson and Kopech in separate games with their 102 heat

Practice on legend then go into ranked sitting fastball every pitch and hope they throw it

Are you on good, wired internet? Try playing like 10 games on mobile hot spot. No, I'm not joking. Sounds funny but give it a try. Might not make a difference but what do you have to lose.

yeah im on a very high speed wired connection.
i also get long delays when browsing the game menus and selling and basically anything that uses communication with the server.

This is probably why I'm not facing as many "average" players as I used to. I bet people are getting blown away by pitch speeds and just stop playing online.

i know i have. ive played like 20 something games. years past id be near 70-80 by this point. it really bums me out. i just hate SDS. i just hate them so much for being schmucks and not caring. but who can blame them? they are getting paid.
stub sales mean more than a good product. they clearly stopped giving a [censored]. sad.

Yeah its just weird that events and ranked can both be all star... yet ranked speeds are twice as fast. It makes switching back and forth so frustrating
