Were you the pitcher or the 1B?

Whenever I go to my ball player load out it resets the appearance of my equipment.

This one is so dumb. It's driving me nuts. WHO WEARS ONE BATTING GLOVE? WHY DOES IT KEEP DEFAULTING TO THAT?

I am new to the game (Xbox) after my RTTS games i get some progression to this "1st inning" program I think it is called, sometimes I will play multiple games in a row and it does not seem to move...
As far as equipment, I haven't unlocked much yet but what I do have seems to get "unequipped" from my player pretty frequently.

Give it some practice, @Moosealbany_PSN ! It's genuinely worth it, in my opinion. If you get the knack of it, a lot of the randomness for location falls away. Naturally, though, you'll still have a few wild ones here and there, but it's a pretty nice addition.

Your ballplayer can play any position in DD that his archetype supports, though most will be shown as a "secondary" position. And it really doesn't matter what position you are playing in DD as long as it's one that earns archetype points and thus progresses your archetype.

So, my base-stealing CF when I play DD is actually playing 2B. Because I have Jr. in CF and studs most other spots, 2B was the weakest spot. As long as it's just secondary, and not out-of-position, you should be okay. Except at 1B. For some reason, a guy playing 1B as a secondary seems to have a glove made of stone and balls just bounce out of his glove. Lots of baserunners as a result. So I don't recommend putting your guy at 1B even if it is a "secondary" and not "out of position". Also, I recommend putting your player in the first spot of the batting order to make sure you get maximum plate appearances in DD mode.

My RTTS player works without issues now. I have 4 separate loadouts and whichever one I choose can earn progression (doesn't matter if it's the active loadout or not).

This is not a RTTS question.

However, in RTTS I have a 50 Velocity and an Archetype (forgot which one, not the base Velocity one), and I can occasionally hit 101mph on the gun. I am usually hitting 97-100.

I have a diamond billy the kid for pitcher that I got in a couple days but it’s taking me forever to progress as a batter, stuck on silver and less then halfway to gold.

Randomly while at bat I'll notice my equipment affects my attributes but it's so rare (like 1 out of 15 appearances) it's pointless to count on. Wasted stubs on equipment.

It bugs out and doesn’t display after games sometimes. It does progress behind the scenes so you can always check before you start a series to see where you are at.

Soooo... In DD knuckleball is missing from a real players repertoire too? Are we sure this is a simulation game hahaha. Hey R.A. Dickey.....you can't have a knuckleball anymore.....because people can't hit it..... lame

Don't play on Dynamic. It'll go to max level and never come down if you do badly. Just pick a level you like and stick with it.

I'm not allowed to go past 80 pitches, even if I've struck out 10 in 5 innings and in a tie game.

And my pitcher isn't tired.

It's not happening with me in Sim.
