Both. Depends on the position and archetype. If you’re talking for your RTTS save, then the one in RTTS

Don't worry, play station has it also, finally got my batting leveled with work around but now I'm stumped because my pitching only counts the non repeatable quests. It has not tracked the repeatable ones. So once I complete the non repeatable one I go pitch in diamond dynasty until I complete it. It feels like a absolute solid game, lol. Also the glitches are nuts. I watch an outfielder run away from the ball and as soon as I decided to take 2nd the outfielder teleported to the ball. The game has good madden quality

I've got my ballplayer to diamond slugger load-out. He is a catcher in rtts but his actual card is a 3b in dd his card doesn't have catcher secondary on his card but if you search by catcher secondary in the menu he comes up and has the overlay that says secondary position. Once in game he plays like he is out of position and gets all the bad animations. Any way to fix this?

Double check make sure you have catcher Architype equipped. 🙂

Thats not the problem though if i equip the catcher primary archtype I lose the diamond slugger stats that say secondary catcher. I would have to redo all the missions for the catcher primary

When you create a ballplayer it creates one @ every position if you choose 2 way player. Based off of what archetypes and perks you have equipped will determine if it is primary or secondary. Therefore you will get different animations for secondary positions b/c you lose 5 attribute points automatically if they are playing secondary. So you have to use perks to compensate for attribute loss.

But my catcher has 70+ defence he just can't play catcher in DD it says secondary but he just doesn't block the ball. I understand I lose stats for secondary position but he's just playing like he is not in a secondary. No Block, when he throws he does the animation you get when you are out of position and he doesn't throw the ball on steals like a normal catcher.
I don't think the problem is his stats its that it just says he isn't in a secondary

I guess I don't Understand why you are putting Catcher as a Secondary when thier is a primary Architype for that position? Slick Fielding is the Catcher Architype. Sorry i was trying to help but i'm not following.

This is the purpose of Different loadouts.

So each Archetype has primary and secondary positions available for them. Diamond “Hawk” archetype is on of the best for attributes and it has Catcher as a secondary. I am willing to take a secondary position penalty to have the attribute points. I can play as a catcher in RTTS, but as soon as I try to play DD it just says Shortstop with no secondary position. All we are trying to conclude is this is broken and needs to get fixed.

That's why I always carry a backup save of all my RTTS saves since the show 09...

Once every 8 games I go into the "Transaction" screen to check the league/my team transactions. If the Manager did something awful, I quit, reload the save from 8 games prior, make a new copy, and continue from there hoping the GM won't make the same mistakes again...

Unfortunately with RTTS21 since you can't start from scratch with your Ballplayer, it is a must because a bad GM making 3-4 mooves can ruin your save file real quick!

Once you hit 100 at Diamond level and got all those rewards, you no longer can progress the Archetype. So yeah, getting progress towards whatever the current carrot at the end of the stick that SDS puts out there will still happen, but not any further Archetype progress. It's not repeatable after the first 100.

I currently have 2 Diamond Archetypes at 100/100 (The Hawk and Cool Papa) and another 2 which I'm grinding through (Crime Dog and Billy the Kid). But once you have those all levelled up, then there's no more sense of growth at all. It's just playing the game - significant less feeling of satisfaction as compared to previous years versions where you still felt like there was room to improve your player even 5, 6 years into a career.

I changed my throwing from showtime to button accuracy and the blue circle appeared while base running. Changed it back to showtime and the circle stopped showing up. Give it a shot in troubleshooting

I think you just have to wait until your coach or agent asks you about it again.

Yes, you start off at a bronze archetype. Go into My Player and click X (on Xbox) or square (on PS) to view the program tracking. There you’ll see missions that you have to complete. Each mission gives you a certain number of points, 100 points completes the program. Once you hit 100 points you will unlock Silver archetypes that have a higher cap. Finish that program and you’ll get Gold, finish that and you get Diamond. Each one raises the attribute caps.

I always choose a high number at the beginning ... usually 48 ... and so far it has never been changed.

I'm not sure I know what you mean or if this helps:

You have two loadouts you have created and added perks to on the loadout section of "my ballplayer." One is for your pitcher and a separate one for your hitter. Before the game it asks you which you want to activate and obviously it's always the hitter one unless you are pitching that game.

If you pick the wrong one it will dramatically affect your performance. For instance, if you are pitching with the hitting loadout activated you will be pitching with none of your loadout bonuses.

Before the crash a couple days ago my hitter was crushing...now I can touch a baseball and if I do it is a ground ball and a double play...lovely
