2k and EA with Basketball and Madden, they get sue'd and settle all the time the profit they make is more than the fee. The era of image is dead, No one cares anymore they just want the product. i can think of many companies off the top of my head that knowingly use labor and unethical methods to make a product for so long its known and joked about and yet it still sells.

I think i found one of the reasons why there is no Secondary position.

So as a Positional Catcher certain perks work for it like Cannon Arm ect. But if you are a two way player Cannon Arm does not work for the Catcher. The text is even different for both characters, being pitcher is outfield only and Catcher it works for you.

I dont think the game can handle the swapping of perk per position on the fly.

I thnk thats why they got rid of loadouts since they would break all the time and never worked on release when they first came out.

and bots, dont forget bots. And the flippers that are claiming to get banned for not useing bots but are somehow beating the bots on flipping even thou other post are saying the bots are insta buying and selling =p

You know, Parliament took all these companies on the stand b4 they outlawed loot boxes and they awnserd that question under oath. Its all public =p they admitted alot of things you are suspecting manipulation with some justification ect, EA called the star wars loot boxes "suprise mechanics". Should watch and not let stuff die to history. There is a reason loot box games are outlawed in certain countries, and its all due to that.

And the awnser is "internal audits" and admit to self adjusting on how they deem fit.

There is a reason these guys go to court and get finned millions of bucks and still do it =p the profit out wt's the court fee.

And also i always thought the one who covers 2nd is the the guy opposite side of the handed batter, like if its a right hander 2nd base would cover the bag. If its a lefty SS would cover the bag but at a higher lvl they prolly have a sheet due to hitting habits.

Who knows, maybe its just to keep you engaged as the player. if hes throwing behind you that usually means your late getting to the bag. i always cheat when i see a guy on first and pre move cuz the play is only going to be one of two things hah

yeah impact/fullgame/myplays have to be treated like 3 diff modes. For example Impact on first base like 3 x a game they will hit the exact grounder down the middle making you cut off for a throw to either Home/3rd or 2nd.
You will 9 outa 10 times throw it to 2nd. You will be involved in like zero double plays very rarely get a direct grounder , It will be either scoop from the dirt or cut off.

My plays only was actually funner and in 3 seasons ive never gotten that impact plays i use to get 3x a game. I get ground outs DP's involving home, routine, pop outs, regular ground outs and DP's where i just do my routine job at 1st base.

Impact the game generates a impactful play for you which is only like 2 plays, its designed to keep you engaged so it will constantly set up the same scenarios for you over and over and over. Wich for 3rd base i can see being bunts and i bet you take the cut off from SS on left field plays. I bet if you changed it to my plays only you would get alot of ground balls and pop outs and turn twos.

And i just re read you had my plays only on. I guess that is what the 3rd baseman mostly does just make sure My plays and Impact are two diff things. Cept for catcher thats the same mode it seems. All other positions seem to get different plays. I have not tested 3rd or Left field.

Thats on impact plays btw, if i play full game i throw like 100 % out since i can control the slide step and pitch outs. Wich you cannot do in impact mode.

But i get annoyed with how badly that mode is programed with the pitchers. Where are you sliders for catcher pitching calls. They seem to hit closely on impact plays.

whats your pop time and arm str, at 80/80 mine rarely throws to the SS side. It mostly throws it perfectly right at the bottom of the base. Could also be acc too, but I only recently started putting points in that since the aim time in 26 is like so insanely forgiving this year

Also i noticed as a catcher "Cannon Arm" is not just for outfielders, when i got that along with the 80/80 i throw around 75 % of base runners out. I have to like miss for it to throw to behind the SS wich happens when i get lazy

My theory is your Arm str, its like an outfielder it can either throw a line drive or a soggy noodle.

Ah, i think valve honestly is happy just being a host makeing money over fist. And i dunno, lets see in a couple years what changes EA makes too games if any. At least its in other peoples hands now, everything starts somewhere =p They could go with greed, or they might rage and fire everyone and hire none nerds that play the games.

Well the problem is licensing. All the sports games now are exclusive to each brand so there will be no competition.

There are plenty of other baseball games out there but none like this. The NHL sim is owned by EA and is PS only bc it dosnt sell due to how bad it is. And they do the same thing, remove stuff from 10 years ago and add it back later saying its a new feature.

2k will literally with all 900 batting stances in the game make them cost 5 bucks + each to unlock after you hit certain stats that along with catching styles throwing styles every movement of your "custom whatever creator" you would have to boost with VC Per character. VC Gatorade boost and all that. And you would still have all the the cheating problems they would do zero about it even in tournaments and all that. But it prolly would be better than Sony least the game would look pretty and they might add a open world area. Could you do it w/o vc? sure but everyone will just boost to 85 overall like they do in nba 2k would prolly take you a good 2 or 3 weeks playing 12 hours a day to get the correct stats need for that kind of hitting animation. If your HT is correct and all that too =p cant be too tall or short!

I vote for Saudies or 10 cent USA cant cut it with sports games anymore. They are just trying to add stuff on old code. They even brought a couple things back this year that were in the game 10 years ago gas lighting it is new.

dont forget all the animations would cost VC too, like pitcher motions running motions catcher stance ect ect.

I dont think the initial sales data maters, its all about the micro transaction income. Many players at launch were streaming opening packs and spending 1k to 5k usd just on opening night which is worth about 10 to 100 people. And thats just them, think about the silent whales. The average player isnt on social media or these forums =p

There wouldnt be programs for sale for cheating in the game if it was dieing for 100's a month for both market boards and ingame stuff.

Micro transaction games you really cant judge on initial sales if the whales will keep being whales. As long as there are little fish around for them to eat they will stay. Monopolies suck, tbh i want the Saudies to buy the rights at this point.

I agree they should have fixed other things than adding pop time.

You need 80 arm and pop to get runners out like just above 50 % of the time. The pitcher also needs to slide step bc the added animations are so long with the inconsistent base running speed of players.

its like fielding a bunt, how many times has a guy made it to first bc it takes your catcher animation of turning his "rear end" across the screen for the throw feel like ages =p
