@sbchamps17_NS I like how everyone is assumes on here that you play diamond Dynasty but no one thinks that oh maybe they play other modes no he must play diamond Dynasty dude I don't even play diamond Dynasty I don't care about diamond Dynasty I don't care whether they're 99 overall I'm sorry I don't That's not why I find it boring at all

You're also not missing a whole lot this year The game is actually very boring to play I don't know what it is about this year's game but compared to last year's game it's just really boring I can't quite put my finger on exactly what it is but it's just not fun to play this year at least not right now I wouldn't buy it either if I were you right now I regret buying it personally

I find this year the whole game just feels off like the pictures don't have the same sort of slap of the glove they had last year the ball off the bat doesn't seem quite as good in and I'm not even talking about online mode I'm talking about franchise mode here just everything that this game this year just seems off and I don't like it analog hitting is just dreadful this year your guys like basically may still be swinging a wet noodle I hate using button hitting it's so boring but it's the only thing that really works this year I don't know what they've done to this game but man I'm almost tempted to go back and play last year's game

Can anyone at SDS come out and give us some explanation to why they added rosters with injuries but yet they don't update them throughout the year I greatly appreciate that if possible some sort of explanation would be appreciated thank you.

@The_Joneser_PSN I'm not really defending bad grammar necessarily I've just see way too much of that on the forms and it's kind of irritating it's like who cares honestly there's bigger and more important things in the world to worry about than someone making one simple little spelling mistake

@PAinPA_PSN Well some of us just post something and sometimes we don't see it so you know give people a break. know what everyone is not perfect unlike yourself

@OPD188_PSN a lot of people on here attack grammar I don't know why It's one of the silliest things ever It's like dude we're talking on a form people are going to make spelling mistakes get over yourself That's my opinion on it anyways and if you're that sensitive to grammar mistakes then stop reading gaming forms or forms in general

Nope you're 100% accurate The hitting this year is I don't want to call it garbage but it's bad The timing is all over the place It doesn't seem like you can find a good timing swing on anything honestly anything higher than maybe Hall of famer on legend you're behind everything You're not catching up to anything because your guy has a hitch in his swing when he goes to swing the bat You can see it He's like he's swinging a wet noodle

Maybe for everyone it's a little bit different but I find in franchise mode especially it's like swinging a wet noodle

@The_Joneser_PSN on the higher levels definitely but it's when you're playing franchise mode there needs to be sort of a middle ground if that makes any sense

@The_Joneser_PSN I agree with both of you You both make some very good points I just feel like the hitting needs to be tuned a little bit I mean it can be done in a patch It's not the end of the world but I definitely like to see some work done with the hitting

@GoozeFn_PSN I don't play diamond Dynasty so no I'm not using anything lol diamond Dynasty is a greedy money-hungry mode that I refuse to touch like any other digital card-based mode that I refuse to do in any other game.

It may be the same engine but they've definitely changed or tweaked things It is not the same hidden You don't get the same oof behind your hits like you did last year Even with the top players in the game and if you look at the replays when you're actually hitting if you digest a replays very closely you can see when you swing sometimes the ball actually goes right through your bat which is incredible

Hitting in general is overly terrible this year I don't know what it is but the pictures seem to throw way too hard and the hitters bats seem to move way too slow compared to like last year'[censored]ting which was actually pretty decent as much as people complain about it

The hitting in general this year feels awful compared to last year I don't know what they did I don't know why they screwed with the hitting personally It was fine there was no need to mess around with it this year the hitting just doesn't feel as rewarding and the pictures seem to throw faster than your hitter can actually catch up to it at least that's from my experience so far I'm having a really hard time figuring out what's a fastball and what's not because the game doesn't really give you anything this year where in previous years you could kind of read it off the pitch's hand not this year I don't know what they've done to the hitting but they need to reverse it because it's dreadful

Yeah I don't know about that It's MLB the show the greatest game of all time absolutely not is it the worst game of all time no probably somewhere in the middle is it perfect definitely not is it the best baseball game we've had in many many years probably with an many problems because it does. I think they need to refocus their resources into different areas of the game and stop focusing so hard on diamond dynasty and focus more on gameplay because if you look at the baseball game from Konami that game plays amazing and looks amazing and they still have their card game but they also have their ducks in a row which I think MLB the show is current time doesn't they don't know where to focus because I think currently the leadership is a little bit at a focus and needs to be realigned or reimagined but again this is my opinion you can disagree with it if you like

Yeah but people shouldn't have to especially you considering that was one of the new things added into the game that they were going to have the rosters and injuries updated this year and we're still waiting for everything but the first update it has not been updated since the game has come out pretty much which is sad because it's mostly the reason I bought the game

@foge011 if they dropped franchise mode all together I would never buy the game it's literally the only reason I buy the game

Yeah a lot of people have been having this issue and there has been nothing from SDS on it which is really annoying but typical
