49-26. Not great but not bad either considering I just started playing and my team isnt close to what other people are using

I play on a 1ms monitor with a ps5 and I cant help but feel that there is a considerable about of input lag between when I press swing and when my player starts swinging. Does anyone else feel this way and is there of any possible ways to decrease input lag?
Im always "late" on fastballs even though my swing tracker shows the bat is on the green zone when I make contact

Ok so long story short I was up 5-0 my opponent came back on some good hits and then I went up 8-4. So I bring in Chapman and on his first 3 pitches he gives up 3 hrs. 2 of those pitches were 90+% good/good and they hung over the middle of the plate like meatballs..... Like I could clearly tell my opponent was way too early on all 3 of those HR but somehow they are still launched 400+ ft.
Its games that this that made me quit 3 years ago. There was no skill involved in those 3 HRs and we both knew it. the next half inning I managed to take the lead again and guess what. He swings very early and still manages to hit a no doubter and like 3 years ago you just wait for him to walkoff on another chessy HR because we both knew it was coming.
And then there are the stupid rallies where all you have to do is make contact with the ball and its a hit. The next game my opponent got two good hits early in the inning and then followed that up with 2 extremely late hits, 2 very early hits and 2 good hits leading to 4 runs in the top of the first.
Both those games I was hitting the ball well with questionable results. Good/good with the ball right in the middle of the PCI leading to 70 MPH fly outs our warning track hit.
Its so frustrating when there is literally nothing you can do beside watch the game hand you a lose because your opponent is getting lucky while you are getting unlucky. And its a massive waste of time committing 30+ minute just to have the game screw you over because it felt like it

so this year developement cycle is basically over for gameplay patches and we have accomplished nothing. You could say im disappointed but honestly after the previous 2 years of the same thing im not surprised. I stopped playing almost immediatedly after that first patch and havent looked back since. Its a shame that the advertisment that we were feed during the month leading up to the game turned out to the biggest PR stunt i've seen by a sport gaming company in recent history. The fact SDS made changes 1 week into release was a mistake and as a consumer has made lose all interest in preorder mlb 21 because they are jsut going to do it again and again until it hurts their sale numbers.
I remember in 2014-2016 where video games were flawed but still fun to play, the last half decade has made me wonder why im a even playing these games, the companies dont care about the user experience and sure as hell dont care about anything besides turning out the most profit per $ invested.

The metric are close to IRL metrics but there is one thing that isn't being considered in these stats its the average vs pitchers with low/high confidence. Once a pitcher has high pitcher confidence its game over because it has a serve impact of exit velocities on good hits. Same goes for low pitch confidence once a pitcher has low confidence everything falls and the numbers would be higher. I'm willing to bet that you see more boosting affect on these numbers from pitchers with low pitcher confidence since they have to pitch to 3 batters.
Edit:
Ideally I would like to see those numbers on HOF to be around 280. right now it seems low and the numbers back that up

Well maybe one gp patch and left sds gets a F for this years game. Incompetent is the word im going to is to describe this years game. How do you expect to release a game across multiple platforms if you cant even release a game on one platform?

After 7 RS games on AS here are somethings that I would like improved
Pitch accuracy on equilivant of Good/good, when the line is just early or just late of "perfect perfect"
A more accuracte strike zone anything that catches a part of the plate should at least have a 50/50 Chance of being called a strike.
Increased Exit Velocities on Good/good hit lows in the zone as it is almost impossible to hit a HR on pitches at the knees even with 100+ power guys and more often than not it's a lineout or hard ground out
Reduced reaction him for infielder on linedrives or hard hit balls
The removal of pitch confidence as i think it has too much of an effect on gameplay
Reduced Stamina recovery of starter when used out of the pen

Lots of 1/2s in that survey...

Perfect perfect isnt a 100% chance of a hr.
I know it’s not but 83 power? I mean at what point
on a 125 point scale thats more like 70 power if they curved it. But still anything low in the zone with a perfect perfect swing is most likely a lineout or a ground out because of how launch angles work in MLB.

Hitting fine right and please for the love of all things good dont touch it again.
The next things that I think need to be addressed are
Pitcher accuracy; is horrendous especially with 2 strikes and pitch cofidence needs to be removed completely.
Fielding; addressing all the glitches that are still occuring
Baserunning; needs to be more responsive -

99 Kluber
This is the only acceptable answer

I had no problem with the PCI size but if I remember correctly those two things were touched in patch 1.04 so maybe its their way of reverting it back to prelaunch

You'd have 8000 people playing the game.
As opposed to what now because everyone I talk to says the game is boring and unrewarding. In the 22 team league im in we have gone through like 30 guys already and its not even half way though the season. That just speaks volumes to the fact the game isnt worth anyones time and no one wants to play it
-
I play in a 22 team league of casuals. Almost everyone I play says the game is boring and not rewarding. SO SDS when are you going to do something about that because even the casuals are leaving and they aint coming back next year..... At this pace you can forget your crossplatform launch next year because a good part of your harcore fan based as left and you arent doing yourself any favors by leaving everyone in the dark while you try and make the leap next year.
-
Content team isnt the problem. they have been backpacking this game for years now. The gameplay team on the other hand I have nothing good to say about them over the past 3 years, maybe one year they will figure it out.......
-
SDS "But there is no problems with hitting, so how can we fix it"
1000 Sceeenshots later
Nothing
They arent fixing it
-
They don't but SDS realizes that A) the arent able to fix the timing window so every pithcer that throws hard is going to have a sinker B) that a sinker is the closest form of movement for pitchers that have lively fastballs
-
Im willing to bet he just quits if he gets down by a ton
What’s everyone’s H2H record?
Anyone else feel like there is input lag
This game is so Questionsable on All-star it isnt even funny
Another year another disappointment
