To extend on this, if you need help in bullpen, I’d recommend if you took Rivera, sell and buy Dibble. That guy is 1 hard card to hit

Is there actually a cap? Has this always been a thing? I’ve never heard of this

Yeah I went for him first as everyone raved. I drafted him every time I attempted the showdown, and mashed. I think we can all agre offline v online was much different

I’ve found it less prominent online okay. We have about 8 guys in the new online league or whatever. Some games have been solid, but there are like 16-15 12 inning absolute nonsense games happening a lot. It’s annoying. The game shouldn’t just randomly RNG as bad as it does.

My most vivid memory I was playing against my friend last year and The Big Hurt was batting.. and when I tell you any contact I made on a ball was 400 feet, it might be understatement. Game forced me to hit a HR.

I have found this annoying as well. You can ague it gives you incentive to keep playing, as you need to blood diamond prestige diamond, whatever you want to call it for him to get the +3 to all attributes pushing him to diamond d, to me I don’t understand how he couldn’t have been diamond to begin with given we have to use like a million stubs to get him

I am struggling a bit with 99 Jackson. I think it’s cause I am getting a lot of L o L matchups since obtaining him. TA Soto for me has been hot garbage. I think I’m like 1/30 with him. Not a large sample size but that’s still 7-10 games

Outfield is loaded, is mantle not an option that you’re inclined to take him? Even if I didn’t take Thames I’d probably take Ramirez before springier

I’m getting better with him. Same thing. I couldn’t hit him if my guys were swinging cricket bats. Gave up runs first 3 appearances. Definitely performing better on HOF. All star is [censored] shoot guess you have to gauge what your opponent can hit.

In all showdowns I’ve beaten, my goal is always get to that point and skip, since at best it gives you 8 runs, but I’m usually at 6-7. More than enough run room for me to beat final showdown when I keyhole high FB

They won’t. They’ll continue to rare, even if they pull back, it’s usually just in time for another stub sale. They are probably the lowest they will be

Ohtani is my best pitcher so far.. his fastball is 97-99 with a lot of arm side run and splitter is a hard enough pitch to hit already as is, he’s got that too. His slider and curve are like 80 and so easy to have off balance. If I could complete these [censored] showdown challenges.. I probably would get his team affinity in a heartbeat. And yeah, he can hit too

I had moustakas at 1B who I had to kick to second, as he’s batting .375 with 13 HR in 27 hits. Benched Gleyber who was so so.

One of my close friends has only missed on 3 this year. I went 0/5 for someone early in game on the 5 packs and haven’t wasted 37K stubs since. It’s annoying when every week I see someone pull the headliner tho, lol
