What was his launch angle? O'Neil Cruz regularly hits rockets, and last night he hit an unbelievable 120.5 missile off the CF wall. The CF actually could have caught it of he would have been in position.

I think they have been doing pretty well since the start of Season 2 Chapter 2. The missions have been pretty easy and dropped a ton of players so far.

Every roster has a star-studded lineup, it appears great pitching can hold it down for a little, but cannot contain the beast.

Offer 2 and Offer 3 are the same pack, Offer 2 is offered at 10k discount compared to 3, and is limited to buying of 3 packs. If you get the Witt or Hernandez, you get the expensive cards.

I played 2 games consecutively and had my XBox Series X freeze up, and both times it was when I was substituting a pinch runner for the fleet footed Yasmani Grandal. I can warm up pitchers fine. The last time I had this going on is when Season 2 started. I am playing with 3 wild cards, just want to know of anyone else has come across this issue?

I do have fun at times, but it can be a frustrating experience at the same time. I started playing online back in Apr( after a several year layoff). The most fun I have is when I am playing ranked 9 inning against an equal opponent. It's nice when strikes are being thrown and hits are happening to score runs. However, every lineup is an All-Star caliber, and a ton of home runs get hit. I do not have any issues with the lineups, but with the fact that good pitching cannot neutralize good offense. Some of the issues I see:

1. Pitching is inconsistent. Whatever pitch is being thrown may go wherever. It doesn't matter if it is a good release on a 1 or 2 pitch. I get the 3,4,5 pitches may not be placed all the time, but too many times my pitches are just going wherever they want. It's too easy to plunk a guy, with a ton of errant pitches breaking 2 or 3 feet out of the strike zone. If you miss on a slider, sinker, or etc...it is getting killed. There is always the errant slider that just flys away for some reason.
2. In the 3 inning games, guys get gassed way to fast. With foul ball at bats sometimes going 8 or 9 pitches, relief doesn't stand a chance.
3. The PCI indicator is the true weapon that proficient players have to destroy the ball. If you can't use it, you really are not going to win a lot in the long term. A lot of bad balls are getting crushed. I have benefited at times, but it makes for a lousy experience in 3 inning games.
4. Pickoffs on a 1 step lead happen way too much.

I love the game and the ranked series. All video games are addictive, and they are built that way to keep us wanting more. Last year I made it to end of July, and picked it back up in Feb 24. This year has been good so far. I like to collect the cards, flip a bit and always complete the LS Series. This year did hit a HR by making us use LS players more, and having captains like Castillo to boost the players.

I got Nimmo and Schwarbs, so it's a little more the just a few golds.

I'm 47 and have been playing baseball games since 1996(HS Years). I still have a few versions om the PS2, but came to XBox in 2022. I am teaching my 8 and 11 year old boys all the small things in the game you may never learn in the 8U and above levels. I started playing online and a few months ago and it's not as bad as I thought it would be. I am better the some and worst then most and like Crosley or Fenway as my home stadiums. I would use The Polo Grounds but am not that bold. Overall, I'm pretty pleased with the play. I wish spotting pitches were a tad bit easier, but I enjoy the game.

This is a great topic, mainly because there are numerous issues in locating pitches fron time to time. I prefer a 4-Seam, Cutter,Slurve & CB with similar angles. I like the slider, but it seems to get hit real hard whenever it doesn't locate, which happens quite a bit for me. Also, it's difficult to get the slider to break on the inside corner of a batter. Keeping the batter guessing is the key

Well, I still have NCAA 2010 with the Utah QB for my PS3 and MLB the Show 13. I still have it for Ted Williams and the dynasty mode. Maybe I ll jump into it if the seasons become unplayable

I didn't know what the chatter was with the bots until I actually played a few. It was brutal trying to get through a game. Perhaps they could make the bots a tad better? Maybe instead of standing in the OF they could actually make a play

The flipping market is not always fun to be in, but it is easier flipping some S1 players now we are in S2

What do you want to accomplish? Once you complete the LS series, every diamond LS pulled after can be sold for profit. It's nice completing it and getting all the players, Piazza, Pedro, Babe, etc. But it all depends what you want to do.

Are you playing with a S1 line-up? If so, create a S2 lineup and delete the S1 lineup

I played 3 games over the weekend that froze on me. One of those games was tied in the 10th. All 3 freezes came after I attempted to make a substitution or pitching change, and my screen locked up and I couldn't make the move. Maybe give the benefit of the doubt on this one.

Did you swap out pitchers? The more pitches your opponent sees allows him to adjust and try to guess or make contact on what he thinks is coming.
