They need to create a park where people older than 30 see a stand full of fans and people under 30 see Godzilla. Everyone wins

Seasons and Sets have been the worst thing that has happened to this game so far. I know why they attempted it (to relive that opening day feeling multiple times), but it is brutal working towards a card that has a very limited shelf life. This is on top of the fact that these games only have roughly 365 days to begin with before people move on to the next version.

Finally, to cap this off, we now have multiple copies of the same card throughout the year. 3-4 years ago, the 99 version was the best version of that player. Now they can have three, four, or maybe five 99s in a game cycle. Just seems silly and overkill. I would rather have one 99 and the parallels moved up to seven or eight, then having to level 3 different versions of the same card.

Dodgers.. it's win win.. if they win, you get better packs, and if they lose, we all win

They need to touch up mini seasons too.... If one guy comes it and gets a single, he wins the batting title... i also have no clue what stats i have vs what stats they have in the season... i can see the attempt, but still needs a little work

Not really a fan.. But the worst one was by far, out of position players

After the newest collection drop, it has become obvious that there has been a shift in the direction of the game this year. It isn't about legends, but more about which card plays better in the game. With the new Ben Zobrist collection reward, it really highlights the push towards players that mash the ball IN GAME, as opposed to timeless legends and fan favorites. This was even noticeable with the V-Mart collection. My point is that this feels like a step backwards for the franchise.

Here is what I am talking about. The new legends were picked up this year were celebrated not because they had hall of fame and legendary baseball careers, but they were chosen because they play well in the game.

New/Recent Legends include

Darren O' Day
Keith Folke
Chase Headley (pretty recent)
Ben Zobrist
Victor Martinez

But the players we lost include

Mike Schmidt
Ernie Banks
Frank Thomas
Eric Davis

I am not taking anything away from the new legends, and I am someone who welcomes more and more players, but it seems that for one reason or another (money perhaps?), there is a push to focus on players that perform well in the game, instead of boosting players that did exceptionally well in real life.

Long story short, Am I crazy to assume that there might be a push away from the big name ( and big cost) legends to replace them with anyone who throws funky or is a switch hitter?

I know there is always excitement in figuring out and seeing which new legends will appear in next year's game, but I think it is time we had a conversation. I think that we should be more focused on trying to bring back some of the players that have already been in the game in previous years, but are no longer available. My list of players that we had before but are no longer in the game and SHOULD come back include:

Ted Williams! (Possibly the best hitter in baseball)
Ty Cobb
Rogers Hornsby
Will Clark
Fred McGriff
Orel Hershiser (Still listed as a legend, but did not receive a card)
Kenny Lofton (Same as above)
Kirk Gibson (Same as above)
Matt Williams
Kirby Puckett
Cliff Floyd
Yogi Berra
Carlton Fisk
Dwight Evans
Benito Santiago
Dale Murphy

In saying that, I do realize that SDS doesn't have the money to have everyone in the game and they have to make compromises, but I wish they had a couple of these old players back.

The WIldcard spots have one purpose and one purpose only. That is to advance Daniel Vogelbach on to the next Season.

We need the fan that ripped the ball out of Mookie's glove. Just use him as a captain and make it impossible for the opponent to catch balls in foul territory.

We need a Juan Soto that charges your credit card 1.99 every at-bat. Just to get a feel for how much money he makes per game.

I have had no interest in playing since the glitch has been exposed and exploited by every player. It also takes away from the coolness of actually running into a real MLB player down the road. I know that technically if you run into one in Events or RS, then it still shows that it was a real major leaguer, but some of the magic is gone. Every player in Coop has used that card before and it doesn't hold the same level of excitement that it once did. Fix or shut down until fixed.

Batting Averages will be higher across the board because they gave us a Moonshot event right out the gate.

Does anyone have a list of all the legends that were once in the game, but SDS has lost the rights to. I do not mean players that retired recently, but legends that were in older titles and are now out.

I say this because I find it interesting that most people fixate on the new cards, but do not realize how many players have actually been removed throughout the years. And I do get that some of these names probably cost a decent amount, but I was just curious if there is a running tally of all of the legends that are no longer part of the experience.

I get bored of the same teams and same players.

Vogelbach should have received 99 speed. They are not accounting for the bigger bases!!!

Need to fix that. That will be a running theme for the rest of the year. The one guy that is supposed to boost the team is actually left out because he is in a different classification.

They are stacking everything.. Probably have 75 Bullpen (expect 1) rotation (except 1) and bench.

I play a decent amount compared to the average person. My play time has dropped this year as opposed to previous years, but to put it in perspective, I have completed all Conquest Maps, the Original Mini Season, Every BR Program, and got 20 wins in every Event so far. I have not played RS or the TA Mini Season, but did start the Bob Feller mini season and I am currently 5 wins in. I have also completed every Team Affinity up until 3 (the new one that just dropped), and I have finished every program that has been added to the game.

Saying that, I am WAY behind on everything! I have yet to even obtain the Kyle Seager in the program experience, and I am 200k XP points behind obtaining my first boss. I am also roughly 60-70 cards away from completing the Season 1 Collection Reward to get the first boss in that line. I know that collecting these new TA1.3 bosses would help with that, but it is frustrating knowing they only have 20ish days left to use the majority of them.

And finally, this position that I am in is after I took advantage of both Double XP weekends that have been offered.

As stated above, I do feel like I play more than the average player, and if I am in this position, then it makes me wonder how someone who can only play sporadically might feel about the progress of the game
