I have had no interest in playing since the glitch has been exposed and exploited by every player. It also takes away from the coolness of actually running into a real MLB player down the road. I know that technically if you run into one in Events or RS, then it still shows that it was a real major leaguer, but some of the magic is gone. Every player in Coop has used that card before and it doesn't hold the same level of excitement that it once did. Fix or shut down until fixed.

Batting Averages will be higher across the board because they gave us a Moonshot event right out the gate.

Does anyone have a list of all the legends that were once in the game, but SDS has lost the rights to. I do not mean players that retired recently, but legends that were in older titles and are now out.
I say this because I find it interesting that most people fixate on the new cards, but do not realize how many players have actually been removed throughout the years. And I do get that some of these names probably cost a decent amount, but I was just curious if there is a running tally of all of the legends that are no longer part of the experience.
Just off the top of my head, I can think of a couple
Ted Williams
Rogers Hornsby
Ty Cobb
Yogi Berra
Albert Belle
Gaylord Perry
Doc EllisAnyone else add to this list? or have a completed version?

@RazorForte45_XBL said in Does anyone only play exclusively on Legend?:
I enjoy the VS cpu mode on legend only.
I use my batting lineup with these alterations
Only 3 99’s in the lineup AND 2 Veterans AND 2 rookies
My pitching staff is only LS starters and 1 99 in the pen.
All aids turned off
No visible strikezone
No pitch curser
Meter pitchingExcellent games
Last night got a win 3-2 with a Harmon Killebrew homer in the 9th
And a sweet save by 97 pressleyNice! I like the format.
I have a spin wheel I use with 171 different options to make things more challenging.

I get bored of the same teams and same players.

Vogelbach should have received 99 speed. They are not accounting for the bigger bases!!!
-
Need to fix that. That will be a running theme for the rest of the year. The one guy that is supposed to boost the team is actually left out because he is in a different classification.
-
Blyleven Robin Roberts, and Wade Miley
-
They are stacking everything.. Probably have 75 Bullpen (expect 1) rotation (except 1) and bench.

Back, and to the left.

I know there is always excitement in figuring out and seeing which new legends will appear in next year's game, but I think it is time we had a conversation. I think that we should be more focused on trying to bring back some of the players that have already been in the game in previous years, but are no longer available. My list of players that we had before but are no longer in the game and SHOULD come back include:
Ted Williams! (Possibly the best hitter in baseball)
Ty Cobb
Rogers Hornsby
Will Clark
Fred McGriff
Orel Hershiser (Still listed as a legend, but did not receive a card)
Kenny Lofton (Same as above)
Kirk Gibson (Same as above)
Matt Williams
Kirby Puckett
Cliff Floyd
Yogi Berra
Carlton Fisk
Dwight Evans
Benito Santiago
Dale Murphy
...In saying that, I do realize that SDS doesn't have the money to have everyone in the game and they have to make compromises, but I wish they had a couple of these old players back.
Are there any players you wish to see again that used to be in the game?

I usually just go to the program and hit triangle (PS4) to look at the cards

SDS is currently out of the office. We hope to return April 1st. Please leave a message and we will get back to you then. Thank you.

I disagree with The Show being horrible and the worst. It is actually a great game that provides a solid experience.
BUT, I would agree with the outlier argument. I have not problem making 99 MPH fastballs look like the 102MPH fastball just to keep it more in line with reality.
Also, as much as I think the game has its Pros, there are definite errors and problems that needed to be worked on. For example, the Hitting system is very difficult to really understand. Why is the late side of Good so weak in contact? Why does the ball leave the yard on Very Earlys or No PCI on it at all? These have to be addressed in the next game to truly take it to the next level.
Finally, I think the template and model that they have used needed to be altered or added to in the next game. We have seen the same structure (RS, Battle Royale, Events) the last 4 years. It would be nice to spice things up and change it a little bit in the next model. This is not even counting the fact that most of the cards in the game (not counting the 5-10 new legends they introduce) are carbon copies of the prior year with new card art. It would be great to see something new in that area to break up the monotony. -
I think you can make that argument for a lot of reasons
The graphics in the game are still amazing, especially noticeable in replays
The modes give options and allow players to find a way to enjoy it that is best for them
Cross Play is still in its beginning stages, but does look promising in the long term (At least between Xbox and PS)
New programs were put in to promote playing online and allowing people an alternative to obtaining the great cards
New Mods like Mini-Seasons were a nice addition that gave a new challenge for people that play offline
Created stadiums were fun (although they do need to do something about max elevation ballparks next year)There is definitely some issues that need to be addressed as I stated above, but it is a nice game that gives players a chance to customize everything about their experience.

Maybe you were drinking and the CPU actually pitched the shutout. I have had that happen before

After thinking about the idea of associating penalties with quitting, I have landed on the side of No. There should not be any penalties at all for leaving a game early. Saying that, I am someone who plays mostly 3 inning (BR and Event) games, and stick around even though I am down 9+ runs, but who cares if someone leaves a game early? You get the win. You get the points. What else do you want? To tee off on them for 9 innings and build up your stats?
Now the only exception to this idea is if they dashboarded. I do think there is a difference between quitting out (AKA confirming a quit through the menu) and ripping the cord from the wall and turning off the game. BUT even in that scenario, every accident, event power outage, every ISP disconnect will fall under that category and they all get penalized just a harshly as the dude that woke up his neighbor screaming in rage before dashboarding.
It is a tough and difficult idea, but I think the fact that you win and get the points and they lose and lose points should as far as it goes. -
I was using all Supercharged cards to break up the same teams. Unfortunately, most of their skills are expiring today, but it is fun to mix it up and a variety of different cards
-
I am hoping to boost Vogelbach's speed and baserunning aggression.

The CPU does seem to win a little bit more this year, but I have been able to overcome the difference. It is frustrating though. Watching your 12-1 matchup slowly dwindle away. 11,10,9,8,7,6......
Just stop it…
99 glitch is ruining online Co-op.
